Pennington Food Plot Fertilizer 8-12-12 is the way to help your food plots grow to its fullest potential. We all would like more fruits and vegetables from our gardens. To do that, we need to give them the correct nutrients, so they can grow well. They also need the correct soil conditions to grow. Pennington Food Plot Fertilizer 8-12-12 is the way to do that, enhancing the native vegetation. It includes proteins for full growth and dolomitic limestone helps by neutralizing the acidic pH of the soil.

Uses
For use on all types of food plots, native vegetation, and all types of shrubs and trees.
Planting
For food plots: Apply 250 lbs. per acre at planting. An additional application is recommended 3 to 4 months after the first application at the same rate.
For native vegetation and shrubs: Apply 2 lbs. per 100 sq. ft. For individual shrubs apply 1/4 lb. (1/2 cup) per foot of the diameter of branch spread or for plants that are over 3 feet tall. Add an additional 1/8 lb. (1/4 cup) for each additional foot of height or larger plants.
For Trees: Measure trees 4 feet above the base to determine the diameter. All trees over 6 inches in diameter, apply 2 lbs. per 1 inch in diameter. All trees less than 6 inch diameter, apply 1 lb. per 1 inch diameter. Spread fertilizer evenly under the trees drip line, staying 1 inch from the trunk at all times.
