In spite of its 10 1/4" L x 6 1/2" W x 2 7/8" H dimensions, the JT Eaton 420 Repeater Multiple Catch Mouse Trap with a solid lid, can hold up to 30 mice at one time. It does not require any bait because the appearance of a safe and secure shelter draws in mice all on its own.

Not right for my area

This is probably a good trap but didn't work for me. I'm trying to trap small field mice outside and after two weeks have caught one. It's sitting out in the open where I feed birds, not against a wall, which would be better. Otherwise my only issue is it's hard to open. That may be necessary to keep mice from escaping, but would be helpful to have some type of handle on the outside to provide some leverage, rather than trying to pry it open with no good grasp.
