    Q
How effective is pyrethrin on spiders, roaches and wasps? Which product do you recommend?
    A
Pyrethrin products such as the Pyganic Pro concentrate or the 565 Plus XLO aerosol spray work very well to kill just about any insects that is sprayed directly. Pyrethrin products have no residual effect, so any insect that is not sprayed directly will not be killed. A good all around spray that works very well for roaches and spiders is Cy Kick CS. This spray can be used indoors and outdoors, has almost no odor, and is labeled for just about any insect that is likely to infest a house.

    Q
Where on the label can I find the expiration date of the Pyganic Pro?
    A
There will be no expiration date listed on the Pyganic Pro, only a manufacturers release date that should be on the bottle itself.  We are not sure exactly where on the bottle this would be as this product is no longer available.  The product has a 3-5 year shelf life from the date of purchase if kepty out of extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.  MGK who is the manufacturer can be reached at 800-645-6466 and they may be able to better help you find the release date.

    Q
If I mixed PyGanic Pro with ExciteR would that give me a better, faster acting solution for my garden?
    A
No. Pyganic Pro and Exciter both have the same exact active ingredients so there would be no benefit to mixing them together.

    Q
Will Pyganic Pro kill carpet beetles?
    There are black specks everywhere.
    A
Pyganic Pro will kill just about any insect if it is sprayed directly. We do recommend that you have the insect you are dealing with properly identified to be sure you are actually dealing with carpet beetles as they are not usually described as being "black specks". You can take samples of the insect to your local cooperative extension office or have a pest control company come to your home to do a free inspection and identification. If you are indeed dealing with carpet beetles, you should read our article "Carpet Beetle Pest Control" which describes in length the treatment process needed to eliminate this pest.

    Q
Which PyGanic product can be used for flies on organic dairy cows?
    A

Pyganic Pro is labeled for use on animals and livestock on a dairy farm as well as many other places.  This is the verbiage from the product label:

FOR USE IN BARNS, DAIRIES, MILKING PARLORS, MILKING ROOMS AND POULTRY HOUSES: To kill the following flying insects: Flies, Fruit Flies, Gnats and Small Flying Moths, dilute at the rate of 2.5 fluid ounces per gallon of water. Apply as a fog or fine mist (at approximately 2 fluid ounces per 1,000 cubic feet of space), directing the nozzle for maximum coverage and above livestock and poultry toward the ceiling and upper corners of the area being treated. For best results, close doors and windows before spraying, and keep them closed for 10 to 15 minutes. Applicator should vacate the treated area and ventilate it prior to returning. Sweep up and destroy fallen insects.

    Q
Can my bottle of PyGanic Pro go bad if left in sun?
    A

Pyganic Pro has up to a 5 year shelf life from the manufacture date if kept out of extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. If the product is exposed to direct sunlight for a long period of time, it will start to lose it's efficacy. It is possible that if the product was left out in the sun, it will not work as well if at all.
