    Q
If I spray my tomato plant directly with repel all will it affect the plant or the crops?
My tomato plant were just planted and I think the deer have been coming to nip the top and pull out the plant which makes me mad. i have some repel it all that I bought a way back and sprayed the plant. I am just wondering if the direct spray will affect the plants?
    A
According to the Repels-All Liquid Concentrate product label you should not apply this product directly to plants that are intended for human consumption. Instead you will need to apply Repels-All around the tomato plants, not actually on the plants themselves, to form a barrier.

    Q
Will Repels-All Liquid Concentrate deter possums and snakes?
    A
Repels All will help repel the following animals - Deer, Rabbits, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Dogs, Cats, Raccoons, Porcupines, Armadillos, Birds, Rats, Mice, Beaver, Ground hogs, Skunks, Voles, Moles and Shrews. The manufacturer of Repels All did not include opossums or snakes on their label either because they haven't tested their product for these animals or it didn't work up to their standards for these pests. We do not currently have any repellent products labeled for opossums. We do carry Snake Away and Snake Out for to repel snakes. Be sure the snakes you are trying to repel are listed on the product labels of the repellent you choose.

    Q
It says that the smell is very strong. How far away from the house can I spray it before I it repels me?
I have chipmunks that run all over my porch and I see many holes in my yard. I want to spray it around my house but I don't want to have the smell

  • Asked by Maria from Hitchcock, Texas

    Q
Is there a deterrent I can use to keep raccoons away from my house?
I sometimes see them when I come home from work (around midnight) on the rooftop and then this morning around 5:30am, I heard them from bedroom and went outside to check, and sure enough I saw 2 of them.
    A
The best way to get rid of the raccoons is to physically trap and remove them from your property with a live catch trap. If you decide you want to try a deterrent you can try the Repels All Liquid Concentrate. Repels All is made from all natural ingredients but is repulsive to vermin and other undesirable pests.  Repels in three ways, by sense of touch, taste, and smell.  Repels All is the most comprehensive animal repellent on the market. The unique blend of ingredients in Repels All causes mild irritation to animal's nasal passages but does not harm the animal, it drives them away, naturally.

    Q
I have squirrels in attic, trap has not worked, any suggestions?
    A
We would definitely recommend that you NOT use the Repels-All Liquid Concentrate in your attic as the smell would be awful. You can try to disguise the trap you already have by putting leaf debris and sticks around the trap and placing birdseed or nutmeats inside to lure the squirrels in. If you know where the squirrels are gaining access to your home you can also install a one way door. (We are in the process of adding this type of product to our site, if you are interested in purchasing a one way door please call our customer service department 866-581-7378 and they will be happy to help you). When installed properly, this exclusion device will allow the squirrels to go outside but will prevent them from re-entering the hole. Please take a few moments to read our article Squirrel Management. This article offers many great tips on getting rid of these pests and keeping them out for good.

    Q
Is Repels-All safe to use around chickens?
We were hoping to use your product around the chicken pen to deter rats, however I am concerend that the chickens themselves might be effected becasue i see it repels crows.
    A
Unfortunately the chickens will be effected by Repels All. You may want to consider using a rodenticide in tamper resistant bait stations around the exterior of the coop to help eliminate the rat population around the chickens.

  • Asked by Leyna
    04/19/2011
    Q
I put the Repels-All in my RV, how long does it take to go away? What can I do to get rid of the smell?
    A
According to the product label, Repels-All Liquid Concentrate is an outdoor only product and should not have been used inside of your RV.  In outdoor conditions the product can last for about 2 months.  In indoor conditions the product can likely last longer because it is not subject to rain and direct sunlight. You should contact the manufacturer to see if they have any recommendations on how you can remove the product from the inside of your RV.  You can reach Bonide at 800-536-8231.

    Q
Can I use Repels All spray inside the house?
We have a mice situation where we've killed 4 but they seem to still be running around. Can I spray some on a cloth and leave it around the areas which I've seen them inside the house? I've tried traps and all but none seem to clear them all out.
    A

We would definitely NOT recommend that you use Repels-All Liquid Concentrate in your home as it has a very strong, unpleasant odor and is not labeed for indoor use.  We recommend that you take a few moments to review our article/videos on How to Get Rid of Mice for information on how to implement a successful eradication program, as well as information on traps, repellents, exclusion and sanitation.

  • Asked by Beck from Dallas, Tx
    09/02/2015
    Q
Can I use Repels-All Liquid Concentrate to remove rodents, rats, and raccoons, oppossums from my property?
I paid an exterminator to come out, and I see it was a waste of my money. He has been out four times since January 2015 setting out rat bait. The noises in my attic are still here. The rodents constantly dig a hole in my back yard. When I put rat poison in it, and close it up, they'll reopen it in two to three weeks. There are no holes on my roof or around my foundation where they are getting in. What can I use to rid these from my attic, grounds, and RV. They have destroyed the wires under my RV. Can muriatic acid be poured down the hole in the yard? I need to kill them, not catch them.
    A

The only sure way to get rid of these animals is by trapping and relocating larger animals such as raccoons and opposums, and by trapping and/or baiting the smaller animals. You can try using repellents outside, but these are not guaranteed and may only work for a short amount of time. Repels All Concentrate covers the most animals. You can use gassers such as the Giant Destroyer to target animals in burrows that are in the yard area (these cannot be used under or next to a building). We would also recommend continuing to use rodent bait in bait stations around the perimeter of buildings. Our Rodent Baiting Kit is great choice for this need.

It is common for rodents to damage electrical wiring around vehicles. You can use snap traps for rats or mice on tires, under hoods, or in similar areas where other non-target animals would not be able to access them. The Catchmaster Easy Set Mouse Trap or Rat Trap would be great for this use (you should use the trap appropriate for the target animal).

In an attic space, we recommend trapping and removing or excluding animals there with a one way door trap. There are different sized traps to accomodate different animals, so you would need to identify what is there for the best option. Rats only need a hole the size of a quarter to enter, so it is easy to think that animals do not have access. The Tomahawk Dura Poly Live Trap 1232 would be a good choice for Raccoons, Opossums, feral cats, squirrels, and maybe even rats since they could not escape through the solid walls.

Another outdoor option still is to install Havahart Spray Away Motion Activated Sprinklers. These connect to a standard garden hose, and the sensitivity and height can be adjusted.

We cannot recommend using products for purposes other than those approved on their labels. We would recommend consulting with your local Animal Control for recommendations that may be approved in your area which are different from those listed here.

We hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have additional questions.

    Q
How long can I store leftover Repels-All solution?
I have some leftover repels all that I mixed up from concentrate how long can I store that for
    A

We would not recommend keeping diluted Repels-All or other concentrates in a sprayer for more than 24 hours since the active ingredients will start to break down and the product residual may damage your sprayer if stored inside it.
