Well we had/have a bed bug problem, and before we treated the room, I had a chance to catch a few bugs and save them securely in doubled zip lock bags...long story short I sprayed this product directly on a live bug over 24 hrs. Ago....and the bug is still VERY much alive...don't know how long this product takes to work , but so far it definitely hasn't. It's easy to use and has no odor, that's why i gave 2 stars.
