Roach control and hoarders

I live in part of a house owned by my father, who is a compulsive collector of rubbish. The house has a garage and basement which are loaded to the gills with junk, along with several locked bedrooms. Consequently I end up storing most of my possessions in the available rooms in disorganized piles. The house has always had a roach infestation due to the heavily wooded yard and hoarding. Would roach kit #2 be effective against this kind of adversity?

Answer:

Roach Kit #2 would definitely be a great option but with that heavy of a problem and a clutter issue you cant do anything about, it may take longer than normal for you to see the results of these products. Declutter and clean thoroughly any area that you can. Spray the insecticide around all baseboards, door frames and window frames, behind refridgerators and stoves, as well as outside the home all on the foundation. Outdoors you will typically spray at least 2 feet up on the side of the home and 3-4 feet out on the ground. Make sure to spray on the outside of the home around the doors and windows and any areas where pipes enter the home as those are prime entry spots. You may find that the New York Roach Kit is more beneficial for you as the birth control Gentrol comes in a liquid form in this kit that can be sprayed along with the liquid insecticide. You may need multiple kits to complete the process in the cluttered home as it could take months even with products this strong to eliminate the population.
