Demon WP with the active ingredient Cypermethrin 40% is an excellent professional insecticide that's perfect for crack and crevice and/or spot applications around baseboards, window frames and door frames. Demon WP offers three month residual control. Apply with a hand pump sprayer. One envelope contains 4 water soluble packets-enough to make four gallons of finished solution.
Gentrol Point Source is a special Roach control device that contains the Gentrol Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) hydroprene for 90-day control of roaches. Activating Gentrol Point Source is as simple as squeezing the raised end of the plastic, adhesive-back device. This releases Gentrol IGR onto a filter paper. From there, it moves up to 75 square feet. That way pests never need to come in contact with the device. One to two weeks after application, you will begin to see roaches with crinkled wings, showing the initial effects of the IGR. These roaches cannot reproduce. All the benefits of an insect growth regulator in a discreet, non-spray formulation. Box of 20 units.
Place the GENTROL POINT SOURCE devices in areas where roach activity has been observed. These areas include: in and around cabinets, closets, pantries, drawers, refuse areas, electrical boxes, equipment, and false ceilings. Also, place around doors, expansion joints, pipe chases, dressers, windows, heating and air conditioning ducts, refrigerators, and voids where pests are active.

Thank you, Thank You!!

We had been fighting the roaches in our home for two years. We would knock them back and only see a few then a month would past and we would be over run again. I was sick of seeing them and having them get into our food. Also we were moving to a new home and I didn't want to take them with us. I had opened an internet page and low and behold there was an ad for Do my own pest control. I came to see what you all had. I did research on every product in the kit before buying to make sure they would work. The reviews in kit 1 spoke to the problems we were having. I then showed my husband and he bought kit 2. It has been 2 months since treatment and I can tell you there are no roaches in our old house or our new one! Treatment was easy we just followed the directions and woke up to roaches all over the floor. We never thought there were so many. I am glad they are gone and I still have enough products left to treat again in case they invade our new home. BTW the bait is like candy for them they cannot resist it. It was very hard not to crush them as they ate it but we knew they needed to take it back to their home! So all I can say is Thank you, Thank you for your products and my roach free home.

Pests Have Been Controlled

I wasn't sure if these products would work well for me since I have spiders and roaches that would get into my garage no matter what treatments I have used in the past. I followed the instructions and overnight not only were there absolutely no more pests but there was a "perimeter of destruction" around my house! You could literally see where the bugs that had tried to come towards my house met with the pest control barrier and died INSTANTLY! To say that I am please with my purchase is an understatement.

After my daughter and grandson moved in with us we were overrun by roaches that they brought with them. I tried many different products from the grocery store. They seem to work but in less than a week they were back. I bought this and read the instructions and did as told. The next morning when I walked into the kitchen I could not believe how many dead roaches were on the floor. Our house is now roach free and we are very happy with this product. I waited for almost a month before I wrote this to make sure it works. This product does what they say it does and I highly recommend it to anyone who has roaches.

I have been battling with roaches off and on for about three years now. I had tried everything i could get at these department stores where I live, and it would knock them back but they were able to survive and would rebuild their colony! Then I ordered this roach kit thinking that I would try my chances on these products that I never heard of! As soon as it arrived I opened it up, took the gel, an applied it first! It was like it was calling them out with a dinner bell as soon as I put it down! They couldn't resist how good it was and they didn't know at all that it was their last meal! The next morning the floors were covered in dead bugs! Along with the gentrol stations in one week I had got rid of all the roaches, and i couldn't find any that was alive an well. There was some that was sickly but you could tell cause they act funny when they eat that stuff and it doesn't take long to work! I was so glad that this stuff worked and it makes sure they won't survive to rebuild their colony! I still haven't used the spray because the gel put a big dent in population within two days, so i never sprayed! I plan on using the spray soon as a maintenance spray for whatever is lurking in my house! But, I highly recommend this to anyone that is experiencing a roach problem! Nobody enjoys spending a lot of money and not seeing any results! Well this product doesn't control your roach problem, It Eliminates your roach problem and you'll be glad you bought it! Like I said this product will blow your mind away on how fast it works and how well it works! I appreciate the business! I will keep spreading the word, because no one wants to live with nasty roaches!

This is the Best!!

We got roaches in our house (don't know how) and hired an exterminator. After he was done spraying there was no effect on the roaches at all. I found this site and based on other reviews gave it a try (anything is better than living with roaches). The first day we used the system roaches were coming out on the kitchen floor turning on their backs and dying. By the third day there are no roaches to be seen. This product was $5.00 cheaper than a professional and works so much better. I will be ordering this product again to keep on the maintenance spraying and baiting to ensure they never return!! This is the best, you won't believe how effective it is!!

I was most satisfied with this kit. We hired a pest control company to get rid of the wood roaches that we had. after three treatments and of cost of 325.00 the roaches were just as bad as when they started. I purchased Roach Control Kit #2 with one application the wood roaches were gone. What a great product. If I had bought this first it would have saved me 262.75. Thanks again for a great product and instructional video. This kit is a great buy

We tried everything we could buy from the local store and nothing was working we used this as directed and have had to clean up hundreds of dead roaches . I will tell my family and friends that this is the best way I have found.

I had a fairly moderate roach infestation,I don't know what kind. I bought this product hoping it would take care of the problem. After a very thorough house cleaning, in which I'm fairly certain I found the main nest (it was awful), I applied this product. I used the bait in the kitchen and bathrooms and put the IGR things around the house,a week later I mixed up the spay and used that around the house and window sills. The very first day I seen results roaches were dying like crazy. They were coming out of hiding falling to their backs and literally dying. I was impressed! It's been about 3 weeks and the roach population has dwindled substantially. It gets better every day and I have a ton of product left to prevent future infestations. I live in the deep south in a for bedroom double wide manufactured home for reference. It's worth the money! Follow the directions.

I didn't have a chance to use the spray because I haven't purchased a sprayer. The paste and hormone suppressors have done the trick. I had little red-ish roaches (perhaps German roaches) in my apartment's kitchen and bathroom. They appeared shortly after we moved in and I'd never even seen roaches before. I knew our apartment manager would use something really noxious and I was worried about my cat's health. With this kit, I was able to put the paste and plastic hormone thingies in places she'd never get into it. It took a few days for me to stop finding roaches having seizures out in the open. I haven't seen a single one in weeks :) Yay!!!

May 19, 2010 Jenn asked:
QHow many roach kits should we purchase to effectively stop the roach infestation?
We live in a 1200 square foot 3 bedroom 2 bath with a large utility room. We have a pretty bad infestation of roaches in our kitchen and utility room and will occasionally see the roaches in all other rooms of the house. How much of this product should we purchase to effectively stop the roach infestation?
AThe Roach Control Kit # 2 contains enough of each product to effectively treat an average home but severe infestations may take several months to eliminate and may require multiple treatments. Sanitation plays a key role in eliminating roach infestations as well. Be sure to wipe out sinks to remove moisture at the end of the night, vacuum and mop under and behind appliances to remove food debris, take out trash every night, limit food consumption to one room. We would recommend starting with one kit and purchasing more products if needed.
August 10, 2010 Shawna asked:
QWhat can we use for a bad roach problem that would be safe around kids and pets?
We have two young kids, cats, dogs, birds and one really bad roach problem. We called a company to come out, but they only put out traps and said they would have to do it every six months. It seems to have only made it worse. What would be the best treatment to rid our house of these pests, but is safe for us and our pets?
AAll of the products in the Roach Control Kit #2 would work very well to help eliminate roaches and are safe to use around pets and children when applied as directed on the product label. When the actual application of the Demon WP is being made, all pets and children should be out of the house and they can return as soon as the treated areas are dry. The Advion roach bait gel should be placed directly into cracks and crevices around counters, sinks, drawers and cabinets. This will make the gel available to the roaches and inaccessible to your pets and children. The Gentrol Point Source do not actually contain any insecticides, just an insect juvenile growth hormone mimic. These discs can also be placed out of reach of children and animals and are readily used in sensitive locations such as hospitals and day cares everyday. Severe infestations may take several months to eliminate no matter what products you use. Sanitation will be a key factor in eliminating the roaches. Please take a few minutes to read the hints and tips in our German Cockroach article to learn more about roach elimination.
May 6, 2011 P asked:
QHow do I use the Roach Control Kit #2?
I'm not quite sure how to use the DuPont Advion that I received from you today. I read the instructions but still uncertain. Am I supposed to run it along every inch of my home? Like caulking or just place it here and there? Also the inhibitors, I got the #2 kit, how many should I use? And the mix for the spray, when should I use it? Do I use it in areas where I didn't use the Advion? Sorry to appear so ignorant, I'm a bit freaked out about this whole roach thing. Haven't had a problem in 20 years. My daughter brought them home with her from a friends house who is infested and now they are all over my kitchen and it's freaking me out.
AThe Advion Roach Bait gel should be applied by placing one small pea sized dot every 10-12 inches directly into cracks and crevices around counters, sinks, drawers and cabinets. You should use one Gentrol Point Source disc for every 75 sq ft of space. In order to know how many discs you should use you would need to know the square footage of the room (multiply the length of the room by the width of the room). Demon WP should be sprayed outdoors around door frames, window frames, in areas where utilities (cables, pipes, wires) enter into the structure, around the bottom of the foundation and other areas where insects are known to harbor. Inside you should apply Demon WP along baseboards, in cracks and crevices, under appliances, around door frames, window frames and in areas where utilities (cables, pipes, wires) enter into the structure.
September 21, 2010 Angel asked:
QWhat is the best thing to use to get rid of roaches? I currently use Orthene Pco pellets.
I use the product in my apartment rental properties, so I need something good with a low odor.
AIf you have a current infestation of roaches, we recommend the products that come in our Roach Control Kit #2. The products in the Roach Control Kit #2 are perfect for roach control problems in apartments. This professional kit includes Demon WP Insecticide for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. Advion Roach Bait Gel--one of the best roach baits on the market. Advion can be applied up high in the kitchen in the corner of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Finally, Gentrol Point Source stations provide an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) that will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals.
July 15, 2011 Bryn asked:
QHow do you "pre-treat" an apartment?
I have never lived in an apartment before and I am moving into one at the end of the month. I know one bad apple can spoil a bunch when it comes to apartment complexes and the insects that also make themselves at home there. I am a very clean person and to be truthfully honest, roaches make me cry! ( I am very afraid of them). Is there anything I can do to safeguard my apartment prior to moving in so that I can do my best to ward off potential bugs. If so, how can I go about maintenance?
ALiving in an apartment is definitely a situation you have to monitor closely. You may be very clean but a bad neighbor who is not can cause their roach problem to move into your apartment. To battle this issue, and to treat before you move in, you should get the roach control kit #2. The kit comes with a spray which is Demon WP. You will need a 1 gallon hand pump sprayer which does not come with the kit but we do sell if you don't have one. Demon WP is a powder you mix with water in a 1 gallon sprayer and apply to all of the baseboards, underneath appliances, where pipes go into the wall under the sinks and behind toilets, water heater closet, etc. Demon WP will kill all insects, and should provide a good knock down before you move in and ensure anything crawling around is dead. The other products in the kit, roach gel and IGR, should be put out only if you see a roach so you can get rid of the problem before it gets worse.

Ron from Northampton, Ma asked:
QI was told to not spray if using bait. How should I apply your kit? Do the bait and igr first, wait and spray?
How long to wait to spray? Or should I do everything at same time?
AYou should use all of the products at the same time. Spray the Demon into cracks and crevices around door frames, window frames, baseboards and under appliances. Place the Advion Gel bait directly in cracks and crevices in cabinets, drawers and around counter tops (places where you wouldn't want to spray because you would contaminate food products or dishes). Place 1-2 Gentrol Point Source in each room where you have noticed roach activity. By using all of the products together you will get much better results in a shorter amount of time.

Pete from Breckenridge,tx asked:
QWhat products will work together to kill and eliminate roaches?
I want to order demon wp, and something else that will combine with it to absolutely knock out and totally kill roach populations.
AWe have put together our Roach Control Kit #2 for just this purpose. Debora from Lawrence, Ks asked:
QShould I use Maxforce FC Bait stations with Maxforce Pro Gel to get rid of roaches?
Would it be advisable to use the Maxforce FC Bait stations along with the Maxforce Pro Gel to get two kinds of bait out there for the little buggers to snack on? I do have a pretty hefty infestation such that not only are they in the kitchen and bathrooms but they are starting to make incursions into bedrooms where there is no "real" food (other than stuff like books). Additionally, my house sits on blocks, should I use something under the house. I do have dogs but they don't go under the house, however, the neighbor's cat does. Any advice on that -- don't want to kill the cat (no matter what my dog thinks!) Also since it is winter and will be dropping below 25 for days at a time, will this have an affect on the roaches that aren't living inside -- or are there any roaches that aren't living inside. Thanks for your help... hope to get started at this in a couple of weeks... after we can get an order off to you.
AWe recommend that instead of using two kinds of bait at once that you instead use a bait, an insect growth regulator and a high quality insecticide. Indoor roach infestations usually require more than one product because roaches like to hide in many different places and baits alone are usually not enough. Most of our customers purchase our Roach Control Kit 2. This professional kit includes 1 envelope of Demon WP Insecticide (which makes 4 gallons of finished solution) for spraying the outside perimeter of the home (and under house if necessary) and inside underneath large appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. You'll also get 4 x 30 gram tubes of Advion Roach Bait Gel--one of the best roach baits on the market. Advion can be applied up high in the corners of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other roaches by contact or by sharing food. Elizabeth from United States asked:
QWhat is the best product to get to get rid of my roach infestation??!!
I have a bad infestation in my house and I am sick of buying products that don't work! I need something that really works and is worth my money because I'm sick of them taking over my house!
AWe recommend using 3 products together to get rid of roaches. A roach bait gel, an IGR (insect growth regulator), and a residual insecticide. We offer all three products in the Roach Control Kit 2. This professional kit includes 1 packet of Demon WP Insecticide (which makes 4 gallons of finished solution) for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. You'll also get 4 x 30 gram tubes of Advion Roach Bait Gel--one of the best roach baits on the market. Advion can be applied up high in the kitchen in the corner of cabinets and in cracks and crevices in kitchens and bathrooms. The bait contains a slow-acting poison that attracts and kills feeding roaches, who also spread the bait to other hidden roaches by contact or by sharing food. Finally, 20 Gentrol Point Source stations provide an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) that will stop roaches from laying eggs, helping to halt the infestation. The combination of an IGR with roach bait is a highly effective roach control strategy that is widely used by pest control professionals. Demon WP must be applied with a 1 gallon pump sprayer. It is very important that you do your part by making sure your home is impeccably clean while trying to get rid of a roach infestation. Poor sanitation will lead to roach control failure.

Leah from California, Mo asked:
QDoes Hot Shot roach and gel bait work?
I have a severe roach problem, just needing to know if the Hot Shot brands work as well as others. I have the other stuff for yard and crawl spaces.
AWe are not familiar with consumer brands such as a Hot Shot, and since we do not sell them or deal with them in any way we do not have any feed back on how well they work. We only sell professional pest control products. If you have a current infestation of roaches we recommend the products that come in our Roach Kit #2. The products in the Roach Control Kit #2 are perfect for roach control problems in apartments. This professional kit includes Demon WP Insecticide for spraying the outside perimeter of the home and inside underneath appliances, behind cabinets, under toilets and sinks, etc. Advion Roach Bait Gel is one of the best roach baits on the market. Nat from Columbus asked:
QI've been using the kit for 6 weeks and am still seeing roaches. What should I do?
I used all of the kit- the bait gel in the kitchen, baths, and laundry, the Demon WP all along the outside of the house and doorways/windows, and put out all IGRs. I am still seeing 1-2 roaches daily in random places that seem to be healthy. Occasionally I see a dead one here or there, but not as often as the live ones. What can I do?
ARoach infestations do not build up in a short period of time and they do not usually go away in a short period of time. Roach infestations can take several months to get rid of, though most folks see the infestation dramatically decline within the first couple weeks of treating. This is usually followed by a reappearance of the smaller roach nymphs (baby roaches). All of this is completely normal and expected. Some homes do require repeat applications of roach bait and insecticide sprays every two to four weeks to get rid of the remaining roaches. A barrier insecticide spray application around the exterior of the home will help stop new roaches from moving in. Indoor and outdoor sanitation is key to eliminating roaches. Be sure the trash is taken out every night and that all of the counters and floors are kept crumb free. Dry sinks and keep tooth brushes and sponges inside of plastic bags to eliminate sources for moisture. Outdoors, move trash cans and yard debris (leaf piles, mulch, wood piles) away from your home. Seal up as many cracks, gaps or holes on the exterior of your home to prevent roaches from entering. All of these steps will help you get rid of the roaches for good.

Huayin from Houston, Tx asked:
QIs there any long term health concern for Demon WP soaking into carpet?
My apartment floor is covered in carpet. The roaches are seen along the baseboard crawling out of the carpet. I will try to lift the edge of the carpet as much as possible to spray Demon WP into the baseboard crevice. However it's likely some of the spray will be absorbed by the carpet. Is this a health concern for us living in the apartment?
ANo, there is no health concern. You should apply Demon WP around the perimeter of the rooms and try to keep it confined to on top and underneath baseboards as much as possible. However, even though some will get onto the carpet near the baseboard this should not be an issue. When mixed with water and applied properly, products like Demon are only strong enough to kill small insects and nothing else.

Judi from Tulsa Ok asked:
QWe own rental properties and two of them (next door to each other) always have a roach problem. One is severe
and luckily empty at the moment. What do you suggest for treatment and should we alternate products on a second treatment?
A We have a roach control kit #2 that is made just for homes and business with bad roach problems. It has the best roach control products available in the pest control industry and is usually what a professional company would use if you called them. It has a spray for underneath appliances and under items in the kitchen down low, it has a roach bait gel for use in cabinets, drawers, and cracks and crevices up high, and it comes with an IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) which helps prevent the adults from reproducing younger roaches. Remember that a roach problem does not get bad over night and it will not go away over night or after one treatment. Roach control is a process and if the problem is really bad it can take months to control.

Thom from Jacksonville, Fl asked:
QHow often do I need to treat for roaches?
I thought i had them all under control (didn't see them) for months till my daughter and grand kids moved back in. Now I am starting to see some of them again. I'm getting a kit to treat the house (1900sqft). Once I do the treatment, when should i have to treat again? Is there any thing that I can use for under the house since it is off grade to help keep them out?
AWhen treating roaches it all depends on how bad the problem is as to how many times you have to treat. Once the problem is under control and you do not see any more roaches, it is recommended to spray something once every 30 to 60 days inside and outside your home to help keep the problem from coming back. Spraying inside and outside every 30 to 60 days will also keep all other pests out of your home. The Demon WP in the roach control kit that you purchased is great for treating under and around the house to keep pests out.
