Root Drench Range

The instructions provide a range for root drench on shrubs of 26-48 cumaltive shrub height. Why is their a range? Does the lower range (26') indicate a higher dosage? Would you apply a higher dosage for specific insects?

Answer:

The manufacturers of most product allow a range of usage rates so that applicators can choose to use a higher usage rate for hardier insects (whitefly, boring beetles) and for a longer lasting residual. You can use the lower usage rate for easier to kill insects or when a shorter residual is desired.
