Roundup QuikPRO is a wettable granular, non-selective post-emergent herbicide for commercial, industrial, non-crop and residential use. QuickPRO has two active ingredients: 73.3% glyphosate and 2.9% diquat. The addition of diquat, along with the surfactant, gives you even faster burndown. It controls broadleaf and grass weeds, or woody brush and trees - roots and all. Roundup Quick Pro is absorbed quickly by plants and is rain fast in about an hour. This super-fast dry time means rain won't wash the Roundup away as easily and it works much faster than typical glyphosphate products. Roundup QuikPRO comes with a convenient 1.5 oz measuring cap, and 1.5 oz. per 1 gallon of water.
QuikPRO is also available here in 1.5 oz packs for smaller applications.

Roundup QuikPRO is a post-emergent, systemic herbicide with no residual soil activity. It is non-selective and gives broad-spectrum control of many annual weeds, perennial weeds, woody brush and trees. Roundup QuikPRO is formulated as a water-soluble granule containing surfactant and no additional surfactant is needed. Apply through most standard sprayers after dissolution and thorough mixing with water according to label instructions.
Time to Symptoms:
Roundup QuikPRO moves through the plant from the point of foliage contact and into the root system. Visible effects on most annual weeds occur within 1 day, and on most perennial weeds in 2 days. Extremely cool or cloudy weather following treatment may slow activity of this product and delay development of visual symptoms. Visible effects are a quick yellowing of the foliage which advances to complete browning of above-ground growth and deterioration of underground plant parts.
Mode of Action:
One of the active ingredients in this product inhibits an enzyme found only in plants and microorganisms that is essential to formation of specific amino acids. A second active rapidly disrupts cell integrity of photosynthetically active tissues in the contacted foliage.
Reduced control may result when application is made to annual or perennial weeds that have been mowed, grazed, or cut, and have not been allowed to regrow to the specified stage for treatment.
Heavy rainfall soon after application may wash this product off of the foliage and a repeat application may be required for adequate weed control.
Uniform and complete spray coverage will provide best results. Do not spray weed foliage to the point of runoff.
No Soil Activity:
Weeds must be emerged at the time of application to be controlled by this product. Weeds germinating from seed after application will not be controlled. Plants growing from unattached underground rhizomes or root stocks of perennials that have not yet emerged at the time of application will not be affected by the herbicide and will continue to grow.

Roundup QuickPro - 6.8 lb.
By Herman in Miami, FL on 07/18/2010
Good weed killer using the recommended 1.5 oz (by weight, of course) per gallon of solution for spot spraying (of weeds growing between the bricks in a patio and driveway). The wilting of the weeds took 2-3 days anyway, not sure how effective the "Quick" part was, but the "Pro" part was excellent. If I figure it correctly, the cost per gallon is about $1.60, which sure beats the price of the already made concentrated solutions sold in smaller volumes at the hardware stores.

I am nearly 80 years young and can't pull weeds etc. as in the past. My son-in-law gave me 10 oz. to try around my garden and it is the best thing I have ever used. I wanted more and decided to purchase a 6.8lb jug although I have not worked in quite sometime and it was just a little more than I could afford. I decided I would set aside money and buy your QuikPRO anyway, and glad I did it. Would recommend it to anyone who wants quick results.

Roundup QuikPro Review
By Danny in Nashville, Tennessee on 06/27/2012
This is a great product and does the trick. I switched to this from Roundup Super Concentrate since it works much faster. The key ingredient is Diquat. The weeds turn brown within days. However, be careful with Diquat. After speaking to Monsanto, it appears that caution should be used when killing an area where you plan to start a garden for 12 months. Residual chemical can be in the soil. Food bearing plants should not be planted in a killed area for 12 months. This may also apply when planting a flower garden. Bees, butterflies etc may be poisoned. I am using to kill weeds only and Dallisgrass. We are also using to kill Bermuda Grass in beds where we plan to put new bushes (non-flowering).

Better Than Fire!
By Ron in Chilhowee, Missouri on 08/30/2011
Used the product per instructions on jug. Gave quick results. Unwanted folage turned wilted within a day. In about a week it all took on a burnt out brown. It truely kills off everything, weeds, small trees, grass, bushes, brush, etc. "so make sure you don't put it on anything you want to keep" Nothing has yet to come back, or grow it the area sprayed, for weeks. This is truely the very best post-emergient, non-selective, herbicide I have found!

We have used quickpro for years on our 11 acres. Works great to keep those south Texas weeds in check. Great price form Do My Own Pest Control.
By Gary in San Tan Valley Arizona on 05/17/2016
I wasn't too sure about the idea of mixing it but the granuals disolved well. I used a back pack sprayer and mixed the quikpro in a Gatorade bottle prior to adding it to the back pack. The heavier weeds took longer to die off than I anticipated but they did die. This product works great. Now I'm hoping with repeated applications I can get the zoysia type grass I have killed off.

QWhat is the difference between Roundup Quikpro and Roundup Promax?
AThe differences between Roundup Pro Max and Roundup Quikpro, is tha Roundup Quikpro contains a higher percentage Glyhosate and also Diquat for a quicker burn down.
QIs it ok to spray QuikPro on unwanted vegetation and weeds around a big oak tree?
AYes, you can use RoundUp QuikPro on vegetation around a tree. If the tree is established, then the RoundUp should have no effect on the tree. You should try to limit the exposure to the tree and only directly treat the vegetation you are trying to get rid of.

QI am wanting a low cost herbicide to kill everything in my forest floor, under and around my mature trees?
I have some heavy undergrowth and want to be able to look through my forest and enjoy the mature trees. I don't want to endanger my mature trees. I will selectively spray to avoid killing some of the desirable ferns, wild flowers etc. I have a 20 gal sprayer.
AQuickPro is your best option because it contains diquat to kill the brushy weeds on the forest floor. You should only apply it to what you want to kill. It may take multiple applications. You can add to it some crossbow, which will enhance the QuickPro's effectiveness and will allow for less applications.

QHow ofter does the QuikPro need to be sprayed between applications to get best results?
AThe Round-Up QuikPro is a kill all non-selective product so it can be sprayed as often as needed to eliminate all the weeds and grasses in the area you are trying to control. There is not a set time between applications that you need to apply it within.
QWhere, why, and how do I apply the Roundup QuikPro on my lawn weeds?
Do I use around shrubs or patio? Will it kill my grass?
ARoundup QuikPro is a professional version of Roundup, which is a non-selective herbicide killer. This means it will kill anything you spray it on. Even the over spray or spray caught by the wind that lands on a plant or grass will kill it. You should only apply the product to weeds and other areas that you want to eliminate from your yard. QuikPro is a granule that you mix with water and apply using a one gallon hand pump sprayer or larger sprayer. If you do spray this around grass or shrubs, you should use something to block the shrub and grass from over spray.

QWhat can I use to kill my lawn for a complete resod?
I am starting off by killing away at least 4000 sq feet.
A You could apply a product that contains the active ingredient glyphosate such as RoundUp QuikPro. The active ingredient in RoundUp products is Glyphosate which is only active while it is wet. Just to be safe, we do recommend waiting 2 weeks before replanting or re-sodding treated areas.

QHow much Roundup QuickPro should I use for a 200 gallon tank?
I'm treating perennial weeds and Bermuda grass. I'm trying to achieve a 2% mixture rate.
A It is harder to measure an exact solution percentage†with RoundUp QuickPRO. However, you should use 4.5 to 9 pounds of granules per Acre for perennial weeds, the mix in sufficient water to cover the desired treatment area. Please see the product label for complete application instructions. Be advised that RoundUp QuikPRO will only offer partial control of Bermudagrass. We would recommend using a liquid concentrate for the most options with your finished solution since the liquid has less glyphosate, allowing for a broader range of solutions. RangerPro is a very economical liquid concentrate that contains 41 percent glyphosate. You would use 4†gallons of RangerPro Concentrate in 200 gallons of water to make a 2 percent solution, per the product label.

QWhat is the time frame for Roundup QuikPRO - 6.8 lb. jug to become rainproof? Also, how soon can you spray after it rained?

QCan I mix Roundup QuikPro and Speedzone together safely to spot spray a vacant field?
I have Willow herb weeds that seem resistant to QuickPro. Speedzone seems to do the job on them out in a vacant lot so no worry about killing grass. Wondering if it is safe to mix the two together + would I mix each chemical separately, say one gallon each, and put them together to total two gallons OR add both chemicals to one gallon at the same mixing? Are they compatible?
AYou can actually tank mix the RoundUp QuickPro and Speedzone in the same tank to apply together to the troublesome weeds. We always recommend to follow the more strict of the two labels when mixing ingredients and be sure to look for any incompatibilities in the tank first before using the products (like discoloring, clumping, etc) and then proceed with treatment.
