    Not Worth The Money

    By William on 11/05/2017

When it works it works really well but keeping them working is a chore! I have two of these. The first one did not last six months before the compressor stopped working. It was replaced by the company. The second one worked approximately 2 years before it stopped working. The compressors seem to be crap. I expect a heck of a lot more for the price

    Advance 2

    By Aaron on 09/06/2017

This unit was very easy to set up. I had very damp conditions in a large crawl space. In 24 hours it removed all condensation from cold water pipes and flex ducts. In 48 hours all condensation from duct boards and air handler ended. Puddles on plastic have dried up. I placed a collar on one outlet and ran flex duct to a connecting crawl space under an in-law suite and the advance 2 dehumidifies both spaces thoroughly.

    Santa Fe Advance

    By Bob on 09/26/2021

My personal experience...Purchased the Advance in 2014. Within a year it stopped working. Within the Warranty so crated it and shipped it back. About 5 weeks later it was returned. Turned it on in the Garage prior to hauling it into the crawlspace...nothing. Took it into a bathroom and cranked the shower up. Let it operate for an hr per advice of the Company Rep...nothing. Crated it again and returned it. Another bunch of weeks, finally arrived. This time the garage test worked. Into the Crawlspace and performed well for two years then nothing. Issue I see it they mostly use Copper tubing. Hand brazed. Most major HVAC suppliers have all gone to Aluminum tubing/evaporators and their useful life has doubled. Copper and brazing areas seem to leak over time??? Also, on Amazon the comments for several of these units is N/A or locked??? This was a very expensive unit, and no condensate pump. Again, my experience only.
