Something like this herbicide, that takes weeks to show results can't be rated completly in 3 weeks. So I am being optimistic by giving it a 4 star rating at this time. I used this product about 3 weeks ago on my 1 1/2 acre yard that in the last 2 years was getting really infested with nut grass. Now most of the nut grass has a yellow tint but is not totally dead, but the nut grass has not grown any new leaves yet. The big question in whether the herbicide will kill the nut seed and will not come back later or next spring. If the nut grass does not come back from these seeds next spring, SedgeHammer may be worth the ridiculous price they charge for it to me. Next spring I can better answer this and give a more intelligent opinion and review.

I have been trying to kill yellow nutsedge in my yard for almost 3 years. This is the only thing that is working. I will buy more in the future to finish the job. I had so much of the weed that I missed a few on the first treatment so a few are still around. If you need a product that works this is it!

This product does a great job on this weed that invades Texas lawns and flower beds and spreads like wild-fire. So glad I discovered it.

Struggled with that annoying nutgrass for yearsandnothing worked, until I used Sedgehammer. Sime to use, followed directions and...gone!!!

i don't know but now that they include a surfacant instead of it being an add on i had a massive die off of the bermuda grass this time. it killed the sedge all right but the bermuda died also. and this is barnyard bermuda, some tough stuff!

There is nothing to know here other than it works! It is very effective without harm to pets kids and grass.

I used both Roundup and the Sedgehammer, twice. The sedge is getting brown, but not falling over dead. I have not pulled it out of the ground as yet, due to the heat in Memphis, TN and also do not want the seeds to scatter.

This is an excellent product and does what its suppose to do, eliminates net grass completely

lHard to say so far. Has been applied for about 10 days now and of I use my imagination I can almost see some yellowing starting to happen. I guess I will know more in a few weeks. I did puchase enough to do a second application

With first application, after 10 days it seems about 1/3 nutsedge is dead, 1/3 is lighter green to yellow and 1/3 unaffected. I'll try one more round in two weeks to see if I get better results before switching to another sedge killer.

SedgeHammer worked as advertised. I bought the package for mixing with 1 gallon of water and applied to the base of all the Nutsedge I could treat. Didn't see results until about the 10th day. It does take a little while to work but it will kill the Nutsedge. Next time I will order 2 packages and treat more and with a little more quantity. I recommend this product!

after one application of sledgehammer the nasty nut sedge was gone. My lawn service charged me $30 to spray it last year. The only thing is that I mixed the whole pack with a gallon of water which was too much for the little bit of nut sedge I had. Should have only mixed half of it. Any way it won't come back for the rest of the season. Thanks! GREAT STUFF!

We've had a nutgrass problem for many years, severe for the last two. We've tried several chemicals, professional services, etc. with poor results. We applied SedgeHammer with a pump-up sprayer 10 days ago, mowed two days later and again today. We find NO nutgrass in our lawn. There are some blades showing in bare spots, but they are yellowing and wilting. For $18.50 we are almost 100% nutgrass free. We plan to apply again in early spring to be safe. DMOPC has been great--good products at a reasonable price and great service.

This product works very well in about 5 to 7 days and is very selective. It does not bother and grass area around it

very expensive, but it works great. in two weeks the sedges turn brown and die off. did not harm the lawn either.

Overall, I'm very pleased with Sedgehammer. I had a pretty heavy infestation of sedgegrass in my tall fescue lawn, and the SH killed about 75% of it on the first application. I still have a little bit of the sedgegrass but will be doing the second application today, so hopefully the rest of this nasty stuff will be history soon.

Good stuff. Within a week of spraying nut sedge turned yellow. Within 2 weeks drying and dying out. Follow instructions carefully. Wait 3 days after mowing and don't cut after spraying for 3-4 days. Would buy again. Bob

So far so good, but you got to wait for few weeks to see result. it won't hurt your lawn which it is truth if you follow a instruction of product refer. Thank D.M.O.P.C carry a lot of excellent products.
