Quinclorac Select 75 DF Herbicide may be applied post emergence to residential and nonresidential turfgrasses (refer to Table 1) for the control of many broadleaf and grass weeds. Examples of such sites include, but are not limited to: grounds or lawns around residential and commercial establishments, multi-family dwellings, military and other institutions, parks, airports, roadsides, schools, picnic grounds, athletic fields, houses of worship, cemeteries, golf courses and sod farms.

    This Product Works

    By Patricia on 03/19/2021

I use this later in the crabgrass growing season if I missed some with the pre-emergent. Takes care of it with no problem.

Knocks out post emergent crab grass

    By Mark on 08/19/2022

Does an amazing job for spot treatment of post emergent crab grass. Better to avoid this issue with pre-emergent treatment, but when all else fails Quinclorac takes care of the problem, with crab grass dying within 1-2 weeks of application.

Q
If I mix Quinclorac with Tzone, should I add methylated seed oil to the mix?
A
We do not recommend mixing Prime Source Quinclorac 75 DF Select Herbicide with a product such as TZone herbicide. Quinclorac requires the addition of an MSO surfactant, however you should not add a surfactant like that to TZone as this would likely damage your desirable turfgrass.

We recommend applying a quinclorac product with the MSO surfactant as a separate application. Otherwise, you may consider using Q4 Plus Herbicide which has quinclorac plus some of the same active ingredients as TZone.
