I am concerned that a small amount of Sevin Granules may have gotten in my pool. I had ants in the spaces between the concrete sections of the pool deck where the wood has deteriorated & put Sevin in the spaces. I thought the granules couldnt get into the pool because the deck slopes away from the water & I carefully hosed the Sevin away from the pool today, but noticed that the spaces butted against the pool coping and some probably got in the pool when I hosed the granules away. I would like to know about the toxicity of Sevin in a 22,000 gallon pool. The 'half-life of Sevin? And when would it be save to use the pool or if I need to drain it.
