So far, so good...
By Jennifer on July 16, 2012First off, i had a rattlesnake slither in my house and OVER MY FEET when letting my dogs out one night. I was looking for a product that would be beneficial when combined with other factors. This is easy to pour out and each bottle covers a good area. The smell is extremely pleasant. We combined it with more chicken wire around our picket fence and so far so good. I will be buying more to ensure that we keep in nice and layered throughout the summer.

QIs Snake Out Snake Repellant affected by rain, and how long will it last?
A Snake Out Snake Repellant is affected and would need to be reapplied after a heavy rain. The product label does state that you should reapply every 2 to 4 weeks for best results.
August 15, 2009Michael asked:
QCan Snake Out Snake Repellent be used on the inside of a home?
ASnake Out Snake Repellent is meant for use outside around the home, since the snakes natural environment is outside. The product does not say you cannot use the product inside, however this product has a strong odor, and is meant for use outside. The smell may become too strong for in the house, so we would advise placing the product inside something first to easily remove it if the smell is too strong.
March 5, 2011Liz asked:
QDoes this have to be mixed in water? Is it dry or liquid form?
ASnake Out Snake repellent is a dry granule that comes ready to use, no mixing, measuring or diluting is required. On just about every individual product page on our site you can click on the "product label" link under the picture of the product and you can read the application instructions for that product.
September 3, 2012Varsha from Ga asked:
QWhat does snake out repel? does it work with poisonous snakes such as copperheads, rattlesnakes, etc
ASnake Out will help to repel just about any kind of snake. Having said this you should realize that a very hungry or scared snake will suffer the discomfort and slither over the repellent if absolutely necessary. Snake Out should be used as part of a snake control program, not as the only control method. If you are having a snake problem on your property you most likely are having a rodent problem nearby. You can help to make your property less favorable to snakes by getting rid of any rodents. You can do this by utilizing tamper resistant bait stations loaded with a high quality rodenticide. We have several rodent bait kits which may fit your needs. Snakes will naturally go to better hunting grounds if they can not find a food source. Please let us know if you have any questions.
May 25, 2012Julie from Jameson, Mo asked:

April 10, 2012Gayle from Hendersonville, Nc asked:
QWe have a water snake in our very small pond with a couple of fish. Is "Snake Out" safe to use around water?
AThe Snake Out product label recommends that you don't apply the product directly to the water but you can use it near the pond as long as the granules are not spilling into the water.
April 4, 2013Rao from Kansas City asked:
QHow do you apply Snake Out around the perimeter of the house outside?
AUsing the convenient dispenser cap on this package, lightly sprinkle a band 6 – 8 inches
wide, next to and around the area you wish to protect. It is not necessary to completely
cover the ground with product. One pound will treat a band 8 inches wide by 50 feet in
length. Do not water in after application. Reapply product after heavy rains or every two
weeks to obtain best results.
May 13, 2013Rodney from Newport News Virginia asked:
QWill Snake Out kill or get rid of lizards and geckos?
ASnake Out Snake Repellent is only designed to repel snakes. The best way to eradicate Lizards and Geckos is to take away their food source. We recommend treating for flies and crawling insects. Talstar P is great product to use, both indoors and out. Talstar is odorless, dries clear, and the best part about this product is that it will treat over 75 different pest.
