Southern AG Thuricide BT Caterpillar Control

Southern AG Thuricide BT Caterpillar Control is one of the best ways to keep your plants protected against the ravages of insects. Caterpillars and certain types of worms are the main pests that Southern AG Thuricide BT protects from the rest. These insects can destroy your garden, making it a priority to clear them out as soon as they are found. Apply at the first sign of infestation and then reapply at 5 to 7 day intervals. This can be applied up to an on the day of harvest. Thuricide must be carried into the insects gut while feeding, and after ingesting, the worms will stop feeding and will die.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

GENERAL
Apply at first sign of infestation when worms are small and repeat at weekly intervals as needed to maintain control. Thuricide must be carried into the insects gut while feeding, to be effective. Thorough coverage of leaf surface is essential for best results. After ingesting Thuricide, worms stop feeding and will die within 2-3 days.

MIXING
SHAKE WELL before using - Pour recommended amount into 3/4 filled spray tank. Agitate and maintain agitation. Do not allow dilute spray to stand in tank more than a few hours. Combinations with most fungicides and stickers are not deleterious if used promptly. A Non-ionic spreader sticker, used sparingly, is recommended when applications must be made when frequent rainfall and heavy dews are anticipated. Do not combine with alkaline materials such as bordeaux mixture or lime sulfur During hot, sunny or windy weather, late afternoon and early evening applications produce better results. Apply to obtain thorough leaf coverage. Thuricide HPC, when applied at recommended rates, may be used up to the day of harvest.

RECOMMENDATIONS
THOROUGH COVERAGE IS ESSENTIAL. Apply indicated amount in each gallon of water and spray to obtain thorough coverage of foliage.

ORNAMENTALS SHRUBS, TREES, AND FLOWERING PLANTS: For the control of Tent caterpillar, Fall webworm, Oakmoth larvae, Oleander Caterpillar and Gypsy moth larvae use 4 teaspoonfuls per gallon. ORNAMENTALS IN HOME GREENHOUSES: For pests listed on this label use 2 tsp. per gallon.

This is a product that I have used before and loved and couldn't purchace it at Home Depot anymore, for whatever reason they quit carrying it, so I ordered it from "Do my own pest control" and it was great. Got it in a couple of days with no problems at all. Highly reccomend!!

  • 4 of 5 stars  Caterpillar control
By Melody in Mobile, al on 06/24/2016

I was late getting on the army worm or leaf curler, whichever but spraying every seven days has started controlling the damage and I am harvesting San Marzano, cherry, and beefsteak tomatoes from my 100 sq ft garden daily. The bugs like my brandy wines but I have kept them safe with the Bt. I should start to see the BW start to ripen within the week. Thank you

I am very glad that I came across this item. I have a lot of different plants especially petunias and many caterpillars would eat my plants. A week after I applied the product, my plants started to look beautiful again.

QIs Southern AG Thuricide HPC Concentrateeffective for killing or controlling bag worms on my green arborvitaes
Locally I am told that only professional pest control companies have the insecticide that will do the trick.

ASouthern AG Thuricide HPC Concentrate  is not labeled for bag worms. Bifen IT  would be a gret product for Bagworms in green arborvitaes
