I had to wait until late evening for the temperature to come down enough (Don't apply at temps over 85 F.), so I finished around 8:00 last night. Got up and went to work this morning before light so couldn't check on the yard. Came home and took a look.....unbelievable! My weeds look like someone took a torch to them! I see no indication of any harm to my turf, as of now. (Mix of Tall fescue and Kentucky Blue). If I continue to see no ill effects to my turf.....I will NEVER purchase another brand of lawn weed killer. Very Happy

Recently purchased a new home that was overrun with Creeping Charlie. It had covered the back yard (40x80) and crept into our neighbor's yards, too. After reading the reviews I thought this was my best option. First application was in March when it was about 55 degrees. A few days later I noticed the leaves starting to curl. I reapplied it about two weeks later, and two days after that application everything was turning brown. Another application 7 days ago and today every leaf is shriveled and dry, as are the vines that tendril across the lawn. The bare spots are enormous, as Creeping Charlie had devastated the lawn grasses. Very satisfying to see this weed obliterated after just 3 applications. It also took care of a number of other weeds, too. Highly recommend, but keep on it. Every 2 weeks or so, on days that are sunny, and Charlie will be gone.

I have used this for about 10 years. I started using it when my lawn was new with no danger to my grass.The popular brands don't work nearly as well.I highly recommend it to anyone.

I purchased Speed Zone to get rid of Wild Violets in my law. Tried the big box weed killers and they didn't touch the wild violets. But Speed Zone in one application got rid of 90% of it and other weeds still left after the other products. Will continue to use Speed Zone. Great Product!

I have given a 3 star rating to Speedzone because I'm still in the process of attacking this tenacious weed. I tried SZ in the summer and it only wilted the weed but killed very few. I have read that the fall is a good time to apply SZ because the violets are taking in food for the winter months and more easily absorb the SZ. My advice is not to apply until the fall or spring when the violets are actively growing. To be continued.

First application at 1.5 oz per gallon it killed about 90% of the weeds it really works. Good price and fast shipping.

I am still looking for a late winter / early spring weed killer and I have tried a number of different name brands. So far, Speed Zone is what I keep using.

Follow directions, you will be surprised how effective this product is. I have tried other more heavily advertised products with limited success this gets 4 plus out of 5 rating from me

Works where others fail, kills wild violets, dandelions and clover in one application. Woks well on corn speedwell/Veronica, although it takes a couple applications. Originally bought a 20 ouncer, after seeing how well this stuff works I bought a gallon! Can't beat the price at DoMyOwn and the delivery was fast! Couldn't be happier.

Man this stuff works. and works quick. I've used Ortho Weed B Gone for years, and it either took too long for weeds to die off, or didn't work at all. This killed Poa Annua as well. Also NO ODOR. When I sprayed my lawn with Ortho, it smelled like chemicals for a few days. Also 1 oz. per gallon makes this VERY worth it. I used it to treat broad areas as well as spot treated weeds. I only used 2 oz so far and my lawn is practically weed free.. Did great job on Bittercress, Henbit, and Geranium, and Pop Annua.. as well as clovers and onion.

Let me first say this product works as advertised and fast. That being said , I had used SZ for 3 or 4 years with great results. I landscaped my front lawn (1 acre) with 21 crape myrtles around the perimeter (ea 2ft ht) . The next spring I routinely sprayed SZ using small (32 gal.) pull behind (4ft wide) sprayer. Calm morning but apparently got too close (w/winddrift) to my crape myrtles and flowers. Within days the myrtles leaves had withered and started to drop . Had three beautiful hydrangeas (key word is had) that immediately died. With much care (flooding w/water) the myrtles survived . Moral of story be very careful using this product around ornamentals and scrubs .

I used this in combination with the tank mixing rate of Triclopyr on TTTF/KBG seedlings that were ~ 6 weeks old. Chickweed and oxalis were the major problems and these weeds disappeared within ~2 weeks with no visible turf injury. Other broadleaf weeds had similar results. The application was made in mid November in Richmond so high temps were still in the 60s.

While it did not killed all my weeds did a much better job than big box stores weed killers. I had to apply it twice to get a 50% result...

After many years of searching for the ultimate Weed killer. I finally found the one. My lawn was infested with clover, dandelion and spurge. I just used my knapsack sprayer that I filled with water and a splash of Speed zone. I sprayed my Lawn and saw immediate results. After a few days, the weeds died leaving my lawn healthy again. I had to repeat the process on the clover a few weeks later in the front lawn. The spurge however never came back. Just an amazing product. Just make sure you protect your skin and wear a mask as it is a toxic chemical. Once again,Speed zone a.k.a. the Ultimate Weed killer!

I had spent a lot of time getting my yard back into shape during the fall and after finally getting the new seed to take and grow I noticed some clover starting to take hold. I used some weed killer from a big box store but it didn't have any effect. I decided to come here and do a little research since this is where I found the best product to kill my nutsedge. The SpeedZone worked like a charm even in the cooler weather. I didn't know that some weed killers only work well in hot weather. Great product!

Sprayed the recommended amount on my small lawn with a little two gallon sprayer. Within a day I could already see wilt. After my first or second mow or spraying the weeds, they were gone and my grass had taken over. Works as advertised.

I've used all sorts of big-box store weed killers, with no apparent benefit other than some outdoor exercise. So little effect that I actually gave up on them for years. Until this year, when I didn't have a choice. This stuff works. Not immediately, but slowly and over a few weeks, the weeds just "went away." I'm sold and will forever use this product, if not only as a maintenance tool every spring and summer.

I have used SpeedZone for several years with good results. The cost might seem high at the beginning, however the amount of coverage is very large. I use both tank spraying and backpack spot spraying with good results.

Speedzone weed killer does just what you would want it to do. For a while my backyard looked like an onion field. Today there is Mary a one. It takes a few weeks but eventually it killed them. I will apply it one more time to get rid of any new nuisances. You've gotta love this product.

Wow, I am done using other brands of weed killer. Used this on my lawn in Wisconsin. Most other brands got 3/4 of weeds, but not the tough ones. This stuff got them all within 24hrs. Especially was impressed with the way it knocked out Veronica weeds without destroying the grass.

Great stuff! I used it on a variety of weeds...sorry I don't know the names, and Speed Zone took care of them quickly. Applied on Saturday, and by Monday weeds were dying, and this did not affect my Bermuda grass at all. This is my new go to for spot weed control.

I was expecting better results then what have shown thus far. After one day of spraying weeds to kill between my patio pavers, I'm not convinced this product works as well as claimed. Hopefully, day number two will provide me a better understanding of this products capabilities. If I'm not satisfied, I'm thinking of adding more concentrate per gallon and re-spay.

SpeedZone has a winner here. I would advise users to follow instructions. Making the mix too strong will result in killing surrounding plant material. I saw results in one day: you will too.

I bought it based on the raving reviews and the recommendation from the agent. I tried like 4 times so far but it couldn't kill the clover. But it killed the grass. Similar experience with other products on this site. Ortho products at Lowes worked much better
