How To Get Rid Of Spiders – A Few Helpful Tips

Destroy Their Webs

For this you will need a cobweb duster and a bit of free time. The way to do this most effectively is to go through your entire house and dust everywhere spiders might be hiding, such as corners, closets and other hidden or out of the way places. You want to be sure to get rid of every web you see, as the spiders will then have little choice but to search out new areas to infest.

Use Spider Repellent & Spray

Getting rid of their webs likely isn’t going to be enough, and you’ll want to invest in a proper spider repellent or spray to make sure that all the spiders in your house are eliminated. Once again you should apply these products wherever the insects might be hiding, closets and storage spaces are a favorite of virtually all species of spider.

Use Spider Traps

Recommended Products for Spider Control:

1. Spray a liquid insecticide concentrate such as Suspend SC, Cyper WP or Demon WP around the perimeter of the building, and around windows and doors and other entry points. You can also spray inside along the baseboards and in the upper corners and bottom corners of walls. This is especially important in the garage and/or basement.

2. For heavier infestations dusting with an insecticide dust such as Delta Dust may also be needed. Dust in attics and under baseboards and in wall voids.

Spiders and Their Behavior

Generally speaking spiders aren’t as troublesome as other pests in a day to day living environment. They usually only cause issues when there are large numbers of them or they intrude on your daily activities. Other than just being super freaky, one of the bigger threats they pose is biting you while you sleep, as they are usually nocturnal and will occasionally go out searching for food at night.
