    Easy To Use

    By Gary on 09/10/2016

The neutralizer was easy to use, and seemed to rinse out cleanly, after agitation. It does not take too much to clean out my tank, so the container should last awhile. So far so good

    Economical spray tank cleaner

    By Nate on 06/17/2020

    Verified Purchase

This is one of the most cost-effective tank cleaners, and works quite well. The can specifies 1 pound per 100 gallons; I have written on the cover a more convenient conversion for small tanks, 3/4 tsp / gal. If using a 5-gallon bucket with the Chapin 6002 sprayer, fill the bucket with water to around the 1/2 gallon mark and use "a dash" of Neutralize. Then recirculate the solution (spray back into the bucket) for a few minutes or until the sprayer slides consistently smoothly. It can help to remove deposits by rotating the handle within the sprayer to different positions. You can also unscrew the nozzle to flush any debris lodged inside it. You should empty the bucket and flush with clean water at least once before storage, as the cleaner is alkaline.
