SUSPEND® SC Insecticide with DeltaGard offers the benefits of deltamethrin in a concentrated suspension of pure micro-crystals. The micro-crystals give Suspend SC a long residual, (up to 3 months) and instead of being absorbed into porous materials, they stay on the surface. As a result, insects continue to contact them long after the insecticide has been applied. Yet Suspend SC leaves no visible residue, has virtually no odor, and won't clog spray equipment.

Suspend SC is a versatile insecticide approved for a wide variety of uses including indoor and outdoor, residential, industrial, and institutional applications. It's even approved for use in restaurants and other places where food is manufactured, processed or served. Outdoors, it can be applied to turf grass and landscape ornamentals. It's highly effective against many important pests from ants and cockroaches to spiders, scorpions and bedbugs. 16 oz.

Application Tips
* Treatments may be applied at 21-day intervals, or as necessary, to maintain adequate control.
* Treat specific areas that insects inhabit or where they are frequently found.
* Use 0.25 to 1.5 fluid ounces of SUSPEND® SC in one gallon of water and apply to adequately cover 1,000 sq. ft. Under conditions of severe pest infestations, when quick knockdown and/or longer residual control is desired, use 1 gallon of 0.06% per 1,000 sq. ft.
* When diluting, it is recommended to add approximately half the water to the spray tank, then add the proper amount of Suspend SC in accordance with the rates in the appropriate proportion. Agitate, then add the remaining water slowly to avoid excess foam. Thoroughly agitate the sprayer before using to insure proper suspension.
* If spraying is interrupted when using a backpack or handheld spray equipment, reinvert sprayer before use.

Yes, that is right, Suspend SC suspends the bugs. It is so easy to apply and has no smell to it. I am glad to have found this website so I could do my own exterminating. If you can wash your hands or make a sandwich you can apply these chemicals. Make sure you buy a good pump sprayer at least as good as the one on this website for around $49. The first application will pay for itself. No more expensive visits from these so called professionals. Take it from me, retired early, I did not retire early by spending all my money. Good luck.

5 of 5 Stars  This product works!

We live in a valley that is also backed by woods. I just ordered Suspend SC this year to use for asian beetles. Every year since we moved into our older house they would come about this time (the first couple weeks of october) and they literally cover the outside of our home. They get into everything, our laundry, light fixtures, food, etc. They stink and stain everything. The only way we could do anything was by vacuuming them. But I told my husband I wasn't ruining another $500 vacuum because of this problem anymore. I did some research and found this site (sooo glad) because a few days ago we sprayed the entire outside of the house, especially the windows. As I sit here right now typing, there are no lady bugs entering my house! Last year at this time I would already have my vacuum out. I went outside and looked on the house and there are hardly any landing on the spray, and those that do seem to be dying quickly. I cannot thank this site enough. I am deadly afraid of spiders and get them bad in my basement as well, but after reading other reviews I guess I won't be worry about those either!

I bought a place in the woods and the spiders were very bad in my basement. My wife said I needed to do something or the washing was not going to get done (washer and dryer in basement). So I tried Suspend SC and the results are outstanding. It's like a bad massacre. The bugs don't have a chance. Suspend is the best at a good price.

Suspend SC is the most amazing product for the battle against roaches I have ever encountered. I followed the directions I received over the phone and I have seen only dead roaches ever since. The directions on the bottle are very hard to follow, but I got excellent directions over the phone when I called. I will reccomend it to everyone I know.

Before spraying with Suspend SC, both my home and the homes around me were infested badly with roaches, spiders, ants and centipedes. After spraying the perimeter of my home and the inside with Suspend SC, I was sweeping up roaches, centipeds and spiders by the hundreds for about three days. then I would find roaches and centipedes that had tried to cross the boundaries I had treated. they would die within about six feet of crossing it. I would recommend it for the novice or for the professional over all other products. I would recommend all the products from this company as excellent.

We have Brown Recluse spiders. I have never been able to control them. I have used Suspend SC insecticide before and it seems to control better than anything I have ever used. Orkin sprayed for 3 years and they have never done this good.

Suspend SC is the perfect solution for my pest control needs. I have 5 indoor show dogs who are sensitive to many products, so I was a little concerned about using it. It has been over 1 year since I have begun using Suspend without incident. Living in the desert, I have problems with fire ants, scorpions, black windows, crickets and flies. Monthly pest control services were unable to control the problem. Suspend SC took care of it - first application. The product is easy to use, simple to apply, and does the job it promises without any adverse effects.

SUSPEND SC is an EXCELLENT product. We switched to Suspend SC after we spoke with a professional pest control specialist about 2 years ago concerning the best do-it-yourself pest control product. Over the course of the past 2 years we have utilized Suspend SC, the pests have been practically non-existent or dead by the time we see them. We also have Golden Retriever's and a cat so the fact this is a pet safe product (once dry) is also very important to us and I spray our fence line monthly so our fleas/ticks are non-existent on our property as well. I highly recommend this cheap and highly effective pest control product. Grapevine, TX

I have sprayed Suspend around the entire perimeter of my apartment (baseboards) every month and a half since we moved in and have seen the end of all earwigs, ants, and spiders that we were seeing so many of in the beginning. Great product!

I used Suspend SC and didn't notice a huge difference in protection, unless I have to keep spraying it every month unlike most reviews. Next time I buy something for my pest control I might end up buying termidor sc, which is designed for termites/carpenter ants, but everybody I talk to says it kills everything and the barrier lasts longer. The problem with termidor in my experience is that it clogs up the sprayers. So not sure if I'm going to buy this product again. I have to say domyownpestcontrol has been awesome

Has anyone used suspend sc to control "stinkbugs"?
Has anyone used suspend sc to control "stinkbugs"? Big problem in Pennsylvania and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. Also spreading to Maryland and the D.C. area.

A Suspend SC is a very popular product for stink bugs and widely used by our customers.  The key to stink bug control is to treat in the fall when the stink bugs normally look for entry into a home.  Even more important is to make sure there are no cracks around windows or under doors.  You should seal all cracks and holes with caulk to prevent entry from stink bugs and other pests during the fall and winter.

I have small children and want to use Suspend SC for spider control in my home. Is it safe?

A Yes, Suspend SC and all of our products are safe as long as you follow the instructions on the label. When mixed with water, these products are only strong enough to kill small insects. You should keep all children and pets out of the room while you are treating. Use common sense when applying, you obviously do not want to spray on any toys or around pets food and water bowls. Wait 30 minutes for product to dry, then it is perfectly safe for children and pets to re-enter the room.

Can I spray Suspend SC on anything inside the house?
I'm trying to get rid of what I am assuming to be bed bugs, but may be some other type of small insect that is biting at night. I am assuming and hoping that this product can get rid of whatever it is. Can I spray Suspend SC on anything inside the house? Where and on what can I spray this product?

A Suspend SC can applied to mattresses, especially tufts, folds, and edges until moist. You should also apply to the interior of the frame. Allow to dry before remaking bed.  Also you would want to treat around the perimeter of the room, baseboards, feet of the bed, etc.  You may want to try one of our Bed Bug Kits which have a variety of products which are proven to treat bed bugs.

Does Suspend SC kill termites?

A Suspend SC will kill a termite if you physically spray the Suspend SC onto a termite.  However, it is not considered a termite treatment product.  Termites eat wood from the inside out, so they are not out in the open to treat.  Also, termites do not crawl on top of the ground like other insects, they enter the home from under the ground.  So just by spraying around your home on top of the ground and on your home, will not protect it against termites.  For proper termite protection, we recommend doing a termite treatment with Dominion 2L.  You should also read our "How to do a Termite Treatment" article.

Can Suspend SC be used in paint as a treatment for carpenter bees?
Can this product be used in paint as a treatment for carpenter bees? If so how much is added to 5 gal of paint?

A No. Suspend can only be applied using a hand pump sprayer. We do not currently carry any insecticides that can be added to paint.

If any of the suspend sc were to get on the apple tree, would it damage the tree or the fruit?
I have carpenter bees boring into my fence. There is also an apple tree in the immediate vicinity. If any of the suspend sc were to get on the apple tree, would it damage the tree or the fruit? Thanks.

A Suspend SC will not damage the tree or the apples.  However, if you are going to harvest the apples you should wash them just to be safe before consuming. It would be best to not spray on a windy day where there would be a possibility of getting the Suspend SC on the apples.

Is Suspend SC safe to use on baseboards? We have a crawling toddler.

A Suspend SC is one of the most safest and effective products we sell, which is why it is so popular.  You should always have children and pets vacate the room while you are applying the product.  Once the product is dry, which usually takes about 30-45 minutes, it is fine to allow children and pets back in the room.  These products are only strong enough to kill tiny insects.

If you apply it to your turf, how does it affect your soil or the microbes within the soil?
If you apply it to your turf, how does it affect your soil or the microbes within the soil? Thanks for your insight.

A We recommend that you contact the manufacturer as this is not our area of expertise. Please call Bayer 800-331-2867

Does Suspend SC work for tent caterpillars? They are horrible in our area.

A Yes. Suspend SC is labeled for Tent Caterpillars. Directly spray the plant foliage and nest. The larvae are usually easy to contact if spraying is done in late morning when the larvae congregate on the tent surface to warm in the sun. Mechanical control is also helpful with this pest. The egg masses are easy to spot after the leaves have dropped in the fall. Simply clip off and crush or drop into a bucket of soapy water.

How long can Suspend SC be stored for after mixing?
After mixing Suspend SC, can the unused portion in the sprayer be stored for a period of time?

A Typically you can store insecticides for 2-4 weeks in the sprayer.  After a while, the solution will start to separate.  You should shake the sprayer thoroughly before using again.  If you leave it any longer than 2-4 weeks then the solution can get "cakey" and clog the sprayer.  The proper thing to do would be to only mix what you are going to use.

We have springtails and silverfish and have used suspend SC. Is there anything stronger?
We used to use diazinon granules and they worked. Can we purchase it anywhere?

A Unfortunately, Diazinon was banned by the EPA years ago and is no lonnger available or manufactured.  Suspend SC is one of our best sellers and is considered one of the best there is.  Springtails are very tricky to treat though.  Springtails breed from moisture areas around the house, and unless you find the source of the problem it does not matter how much you spray, they will still reproduce and continue to be a problem.  Please read our How To Get Rid of Springtails article from our website for some ideas and suggestions.

Can I use Suspend SC on moths?
I have a moth infestation and would like to spray the bottom of my furniture. Does this product kill larvae?

A Yes, Suspend SC should kill the larvae from clothes moths and/or indian meal moths.  You should vacuum thoroughly in addition to treating.  Also, we do carry clothes moth traps to catch the adults that are flying around.

Will Suspend SC by Bayer kill grass hoppers?
if not what will?

A Yes Suspend SC will kill grasshoppers. The Suspend SC product label states that you should use 0.4 to 0.6 fl oz/1000 sq. ft  for outdoor control in your lawn (The amount of water you use it mainly up to you, but you should use at least 2 gallons per 1,000 sq ft). Indoors you should .50 - .75 ounce per gallon of water. Spray under appliances, under furniture, in cracks and crevices around baseboards, door frames and window frames and around areas where utilities (cables, pipes, wires) enter into the structure.

How often should I use Suspend SC around my house perimeter?
I just used it around my perimeter and inside my basement. I had a lot of wolf spiders. How many times should I apply it or how often should I apply it?

A Suspend SC can be applied once a month outdoors and every 3 months indoors. Use the higher concentration (1 ounce per gallon of water) outdoors for resdiual control.

Will SuspendSC kill ticks when applied to pastures?
If so, how long is it effective? Also, how long should one wait before grazing horses?

A Suspend SC can not be used in pastures that will be grazed by horses or cattle. You should contact your local agricultural department for product recommendations.
