The new Talpirid Mole Trap presents the latest in mole trap technology from Bell Labs. This excellent trap is made of durable heavy-duty nylon and features a yellow foot pedal that makes the trap "hands free", safe, and easy to use. Watch the video which shows how to use the trap. Then after using a spade shovel as directed, simply place the trap jaws in an active mole tunnel and step on the trap's yellow foot pedal, which sets the trigger below the surface. Forcing it could cause breakage. The trap's low profile allows it to sit close to the level of the ground. When the trap is triggered, the yellow foot pedal springs up notifying you of the kill. The thing we love about the Talpirid Mole Trap is that it can be safely disengaged and relocated to other mole tunnels, depending on the severity of the infestation. Plus, you can use the trap over and over again for multiple kills.
We recommend using the Talpirid Mole Trap in combination with Talpirid Mole Bait, one of the best mole baits on the market today.

The Talprid Mole Trap is safe and easy to use. Using a spade the way the video directs, place the trap jaws in an active mole tunnel and step on the trap's yellow foot pedal, which sets the trigger below the surface. If you force the trap into the dirt without using a spade as directed, it could cause breakage. First traps that has ever caught the little destructive critters. Was recommended by a friend. Thought he was over rating the traps, but I had to try something. Trapped 3 within first two days and have added 4 more since. Never have I caught a single one before. They are great. Waiting to see what the spring catch will be.

I bought this trap and was skeptical, but it actually works. I have no experience setting any kind of traps, but this is pretty easy to work with. pretty cool trap, You don't have to set any bait and it is reusable. I Just set this thing on top of one of the holes in my yard and the next day it was set off and I got a dead mole.

It works!!!

Before purchasing the Talpirid mole trap I watched the video that demonstrated how to set the trap. While the video is accurate, it takes a bit of "trial and error" until one is able to properly set the trap. Proper positioning is not as simple as the video would have you believe, but once that is mastered the darn thing works....and works well. I got no mole the first night due to improper psoitioning. However, the second night was a charm because I reset the trap properly.

The Best Yet

I have tried two different types of mole traps; this was my third!! I am happy to report the video was right on.....after setting my trap as the video show I was still somewhat weary if it would work at all since the others did not. WOW was I surprised on my first set....BAM the trap was tripped and what a big mole. It was no wonder my other traps failed, the mole was too big for the smaller traps. DON'T waste your money on smaller traps. Setting the trap is very easy. You will not go wrong by buying the Talpirid!!

Works as advertised

Caught two moles in five days. Since then, no more damage or new tunnels. 1. Be sure to watch the instructional video. 2. Remember you have to find the ACTIVE tunnels. If the trap hasn't tripped in 24 hours, try somewhere else. 3. The hardest part is properly cutting the slots so the jaws will open when you set the trap. Otherwise, you'll never be able to push down the yellow foot lever. 4. Strongly consider using a half-moon edger like in the video, but also rock it side-to-side, too.

We have not had much of a chance to use these because of traveling, but know they work because we had borrowed one from a neighbor. They will be put to good use when we are over run with moles.

February 14, 2011Willia asked:
QHow do you set the Talpirid Mole Trap? Once it has caught a mole how do you remove the remains?
I didn't understand the customers review of setting the jaws. Could you explain it and also explain removing the dead mole? Thanks
AWe believe the manufacturer explains setting the trap and removing the remains best. Please take a few minutes to read over the illustrated instructions: Talpirid Mole Trap Instructions. We have provided the link here for your convenience, but the instructions link is always available on the Talpirid Mole Trap page.
March 16, 2012Rick from Centralia, Wa asked:
QIs mole trapping legal?
AMole trapping is legal in most states. We do recommend that you check with your local authorities to be sure it is legal in your town.
May 25, 2012Dave from Lawrence, Ks asked:
QI have a small dog and garden cat. Is the Talpirid trap safe to set with them wandering around my yard?
AWhen the trap is in use the forks or business end of the trap is actually underground and won't be exposed to your pets. If you are worried that they can potentially disturb the trap you can put a 5 gallon bucket over the trap to make it inaccessible to your pets.
