Tandem Insecticide is a powerful combination of thiamethoxam and lambda-cyhalothrin. Tandem Insecticide uses the combination of the two active ingredients to provide fast knock down and residual control of more than 90 pests. Use Tandem both indoors and outdoors from "cupboard to curb" in commercial, residential, and food-handling areas. Unique to Syngenta is iCAP microencapsulation technology providing the active ingredients protection against environmental conditions by using different sized capsules.
Tandem also provides systemic control of pests in plants using the active thiamethoxam. This active moves quickly into leaves where honeydew producing pests like aphids, scales, and whiteflies feed killing those pests and in turn limiting the supply of food for other pests such as ants.

|NOT FOR SALE TO:||CA, NY (New York - Only Indoor Use)|
In the State of New York, this product may only be applied for indoor uses.
Tandem contains a Group 3A insecticide (lambda-cyhalothrin, belonging to the pyrethroid class of chemistry) and a Group 4A insecticide (thiamethoxam, belonging to the neonicotinoid class of chemistry). Insect biotypes with acquired or inherent resistance to Group 3A or Group 4A insecticides may eventually dominate the insect population if Group 3A or Group 4A insecticides are used repeatedly as the predominant method of control for targeted species. This may result in partial or total loss of control of those species by Tandem or other Group 3A or Group 4A insecticides.

not for uneducated use

The poor reviews on this product are based on lack of knowledge and understanding of the chemical and molecular properties of tandem. Tandem is demand CS with an added insecticide. THERE IS NO "CURE-ALL" SPRAY! Spray means nothing. Application and procedure is what matters most. The "smell" is very, very minimal. Like a weak paint thinner. The smell is the detergent in the chemical known as an emulsifier. That allows the oils of the product to bind with water. Before applying ANY chemical to ANYTHING regarding bed bugs, you MUST at LEAST consult information provided by universities such as Perdue, Kentucky, and the like . You MUST also be patient, for the insect has 5 cycles in life. Tandem is an excellent product. Top grade. Pest control has become indescribably better thanks to syngenta, Zoecon, and Bayer. I'd throw BASF in there, but they didn't produce termidor. They bought it from bayer

QHow long does Tandem last outdoors?
How long does it last outdoors? Does the stronger rate make it last longer?
ATandem will hold like most other insecticides outdoors which is anywhere from 30-90 days depending on the elements in the area and how they effect it. The stronger rate on the label will provide a quicker knockdown for heavier infestations and can help provide a stronger product for longer on the surface.

QHow does Tandem do on treating Mosquitos? How does it compare to Talstar p?
ATandem is a brand new product but it is showing promise as a mosquito control product. Because it is so new we don't have any comparison information for you at this point. Talstar P is still the most commonly used product for mosquito control. Most pros choose to mix it with Nyguard IGR to sterilize the adults so they cannot lay eggs before they die after coming into contact with treated areas.

QCan Tandem Insecticide be applied outdoors with a Stihl mist blower?
April 30, 2013Donnie from Montgomery Texas asked:
QHow well does Tandem work on controlling mesquitos in the yard and in mulch?
ATandem works awesome in treating Mosquitos in yards and mulch. It is microencapsulated so the active ingredient is protected from the outside elements, therefore offering a more successful kill. It is also specifically labeled for use indoors and out, in lawns, shrubs, etc.
October 4, 2013Yvette from Kingwood Texas asked:
QCan Tandem be used in the attic?
We have a pest company come out and spray but we have a large tree near the house and I think the roaches come in from the attic. I see dead roaches outside but see live ones in the house(large tree roaches).
ATandem is labeled to be applied in the attic following the instructions on the product label. Please take a moment to read over our article on General Home Pest Control to help prevent these roaches from getting inside.
April 20, 2015Jill from Peoria, Illinois asked:
QHow much will one quart of Tandem make?
AThe amount of Tandem Insecticide a quart size bottle will make depends on the concentration it is used at. If you use the 0.065% concentration, a quart size bottle will make about 58 gallons of solutions.
April 4, 2013Deb from Medford Oregon asked:
