Tempo SC Ultra effectively controls over 100 different types of indoor, outdoor, turf and ornamental insect pests. Tempo SC Ultra is a suspension concentrate that delivers the power of a powder formulation in a liquid. It's easy to use too-less messy to handle, needs less agitation and is more evenly dispersed during application than other products. Tempo SC Ultra has no odor, is non-staining, and has a long lasting residual of up to 3 months. Some microencapsulated formulas may seem less expensive than Tempo SC Ultra- until you actually use them. But Tempo SC Ultra has a higher insect mortality rate, so you don't waste time and money on retreating areas.
Indoor Application:
For indoor applications using a hand sprayer mix 8 ml-16 ml of Tempo concentrate into one (1) gallon of water and apply as a spot, crack, crevice, and perimeter spray wherever insect pests are found to nest, forage or harbor. (always completely read and follow product label)
Outdoor Application:
For outdoor applications using a hand sprayer, mix 8 ml-16 ml of Tempo concentrate into one (1) gallon of water. Spray finished solution around perimeter of structure including door frames and window frames. For more complete instructions on outdoor applications for turf and ornamental insect pests please refer to the product label.
Tips for Use
* For maximum perimeter control of pests with Tempo Ultra SC, treat the soil, turf and substrate adjacent to buildings. * Also treat the building foundation, walls, around doors, windows, and soffit areas. * Because mulch and pine straw make control of perimeter pests more difficult, you should rake back before application with Tempo Ultra SC, wherever possible.
I use Tempo SC Ultra for general residential pest control. Have used for 4-5 years with terrific success. Great product!

superb product!!!, May 12, 2009
By Don Wheeler from Moses Lake, WA
I have used Tempo SC Ultra for 4 years now and it is the best product since DDT that has been manufactured. The residual effect is the best!! I also like the fact that the adult insects take this back to their nests on their bodies and it eliminates the smaller insects.
I have a millipede problem. They seem to be coming out at night from my mulched areas around my in ground pool. I find many in the pool every morning. They are a pain. How do I treat, how do I apply and will Tempo SC Ultra harm our plants?
Tempo SC Ultra is a great product for millipedes as well as many other insects. It also will not hurt plants. Millipedes have to have moisture to survive, and they prefer hanging out in dark damp places, which is why they hang out in the mulch and are attracted to the pool and the basement. A good barrier spray around the mulch beds and around the house will help. However the main issue is the moisture. If you can eradicate some of the moisture issues, then you will minimize the harborage areas for the millipedes. Some ways of doing this are to make sure all shrubbery and bushes are cut back from the house at least two feet. Also rake back any mulch against the house in flower beds at least 6 inches. This will let the ground dry up against the house and there will be less likely of a chance the millipedes will want to go towards the dry area. If you re-mulch every year and don’t clean out the old mulch, then this is also a problem. You should remove some of the mulch near the pool and house, and eventually consider replacing with a ground cover that doesn’t hold moisture down as much as mulch, such as pine straw or even better, decorative rock that stays for years and lets the ground breathe. Good Luck!
Does Tempo Sc Ultra kill spiders?
Yes, Tempo SC Ultra is labeled to kill spiders. Spiders are very difficult to control however and most residual insecticides like Tempo SC Ultra will kill any spider that it is physically sprayed on, but new spiders entering the area are very difficult for any insecticide to control. This is because spiders bodies are high off of the ground and they do not groom their legs like other insects do. How these products mainly control spiders is that they kill the spiders food that is around, all of the other bugs, and if there is no food around, then the spiders will not want to be in that area anymore.
I have elm beetles on my trees and i was going to use tempo SC ultra on them but i have a coy pond under the tree so i am worried about contaminating run-off. Will Tempo SC hurt my fish or my dog?
Yes, Tempo SC Ultra like any other insecticide can be very lethal to fish. It would be advised to apply the product on a day that is not windy, and possibly even holding up a sheet of plastic on the other side of where you are spraying to protect overspray from going towards the pond. Also, apply on a day when it is not going to rain so the product has time to dry and bond to its surface so it does not run off. As far as your dog, this product is very safe to use around children and pets such as dogs or cats. Just make sure to allow the product to dry which usually takes 30 minutes before letting the dog or children back into the yard or wherever you are spraying.
Can i spray Tempo SC Ultra on my tomato plants?
No, Tempo SC Ultra is not labeled to apply to food products or gardens. However we do have products that are. Malathion 57% and Permethrin SFR are labeled to apply to vegetables as long as you are not going to harvest within two weeks after treatment.
How effective is Tempo for an indoor roach problem?
All of our liquid insecticides would be considered effective for an indoor roach problem. However, most roach problems in a kitchen, which are usually German Roaches, are best eradicated using a liquid spray like Tempo SC Ultra down low near the ground around baseboards, under and behind appliances, where pipes go into the walls or below cabinets, etc; and a roach bait up high in the drawers and the cabinets where you normally would not spray. You do not want to spray around dishes, utensils, and food sources, so roach bait is best used in these areas. Plus, most roach baits will kill other roaches like a domino effect back in the walls where you cannot treat, where as liquid sprays will typically only kill the roach that actually walks over it. One of our most popular roach bait is the Advion Roach Bait Gel.
