Temprid Ready Spray is a ready-to-use solution of Temprid SC that comes in a new and convenient can using Bag-on-Valve technology. Temprid Ready Spray will control pests that some other leading products cannot control. Some major insects include: ants (except fire ants), bed bugs (all life stages eggs, nymphs, and adults), and spiders (including brown recluse and black widow spiders). Temprid will even kill bed bugs that are resistant against pyrethroid insecticides. Lasting up to 6 months, Temprid has a residual that will protect against bed bugs reappearing. Think of this product as an all-in-one solution for most of your pest control needs in a convenient applicator.
The new can also has new features that will make application easier. Using the Bag-on-Valve technology Temprid Ready Spray is able to be applied from any angle, 360 degrees, without any problems, the pressure when applying stays the same even when the can is almost out, and it will reach 10 - 12 feet. The can completely empties, so product does not go to waste. There are no propellants released into the environment, no petroleum distillates, no petroleum gas, no volatile organic solvents, and no odors or smells. No more headaches with this product - no applicator exposure to VOCs. Temprid is compatible to be used with a PT-III System.
Each can comes with 1 nozzle and a crack and crevice (C&C) straw. The nozzle can be used with or without the C&C straw and is good for bed frames, edges of mattresses, voids, and bee holes in a wall.
There is no required personal protection equipment (PPE) and no signal word.

How Temprid Ready Spray Works
Temprid Ready Spray is the ready-to-use version of the popular and powerful Temprid SC Insecticide Concentrate. Imidacloprid and beta-cyfluthrin affect target pests differently, offering complete and unique control for the toughest pests, even when resistance is a concern. Imidacloprid is a patented neonicotinoid manufactured by Bayer Cropscience. Neonicotinoids refer to the class neuro-active insecticides that are modeled after nicotine. Imidacloprid works by disrupting inhibiting stimuli transmission within the nervous system of a given insect when that insect either ingests or absorbs the poison into its body. More specifically, imidacloprid blocks a certain type of neuronal pathways which are much more prevalent in insects than mammals. That is why the chemical is much more toxic to insects than humans or animals. Because of its slower kill time, imidacloprid is used when a transfer effect is desired for treatment of social insects such as ants and cockroaches.
Beta-cyfluthrin is a synthetic pyrethroid that attacks the central nervous system of target pests. Made to mimic the effects on insects of naturally occurring pyrethrum, manmade beta-cyfluthrin has the advantage of remaining effective far longer than pyrethrins. In Temprid Ready Spray, beta-cyfluthrin provides a quick knockdown for immediate control, while the imidacloprid provides long-lasting results and far-reaching control through a transfer effect.
Ants, bed bugs, beetles, boxelder bugs, carpenter bees, clothes moths, cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, flies, kudzu bugs, millipedes, moths, silverfish, spiders, ticks, wasps
PESTS CONTROLLED WITH TEMPRID READY SPRAY: Ants (excluding fire ants), bed bugs, black widow spiders, boxelder bugs, brown recluse spiders, brown widow spiders, carpenter ants, carpenter bees, carpet beetles, centipedes, clothes moths, cluster flies, cockroaches, crickets, earwigs, elm leaf beetles, firebrats, fleas, flies, fruit flies, flour beetles, globular stink (kudzu) bugs, gnats, grain weevils, hide beetles, house flies, leather beetles, millipedes, mosquitoes, moths, multicolored Asian lady beetles, phorid flies, pill bugs, sciarid flies (fungus gnats), scorpions, silverfish, sow bugs, spiders, springtails, stable flies, ticks, wood-infesting beetles, and wasps
Target Uses of Temprid Ready Spray
Use Temprid Ready Spray for small applications, quick access, or in sensitive accounts. Its ease of use and advanced design make Temprid Ready Spray an innovative alternative to insecticide concentrates or traditional aerosol insecticides. In time-sensitive situations, Temprid Ready Spray is ready-to-use, without the hassle of diluting concentrates or using additional equipment. For hard-to-reach applications, the Bag-on-Valve design allows Temprid Ready Spray to be applied at any angle, even upside down. Temprid Ready Spray’s dual action provides quick knockdown and lasting residual, ideal for difficult pests such as bed bugs, cockroaches, spiders, and even stinging insects such as wasps. Temprid Ready Spray is also a great value compared to traditional aerosols since there is no waste with the innovative design, and the residual is effective for up to 6 months.
Temprid Ready Spray Application Instructions
Shake well before use. Use indoors or outdoors as a crack and crevice injection or spot treatment. Use with the supplied actuator or injection tubes. Temprid Ready Spray can also be used in aerosol application equipment. Apply when pests are seen or found. Reapply every 7 to 10 days until infestation is eliminated.
For spot treatments, hold nozzle between 12 to 18 inches from the surface to be treated. Release product at a rate of 4 seconds per 2 square feet. Each spot treatment must not exceed 2 square feet. Always read the product label completely before use.
Because Temprid Ready Spray is a ready-to-use product, yield will vary according to user and applications. Most users require one can per room for bed bug treatments.
Standard Application Rate for Temprid Ready Spray:
- 1 linear foot per second – crack and crevice treatment
- 6 inches per second – heavy infestations and clean-out
- 2 seconds per cubic feet – enclosed void spaces
- 4 seconds per 2 square feet – spot treatment
Temprid Ready Spray is for use in the following areas:
Apartment buildings, bakeries*, bottling facilities*, breweries*, cafeterias*, correctional facilities, factories, hospitals, hotels, houses, industrial buildings, kitchens, laboratories, livestock housing, pet kennels, manufacturing establishments, nursing homes, poultry houses*, processing and packing plants*, restaurants*, schools, stores, warehouses, and modes of transport (airplanes, automobiles, buses, marine vessels, rail cars, trailers, trucks)
* non-food/non-feed areas
Crawling Pests: Treat into and around known or suspected pest harborage and entry points, such as around water pipes and other utility lines, doors, windows, behind baseboards and molding, behind cabinetry and in cracks and crevices in cabinets, drawers and shelves, beneath and behind refrigerators, washing machines, and stoves. Make spot treatments in corners, to flooring beneath furniture, in closets and storage areas.
Bed Bugs: Spray bugs and eggs directly whenever possible. This product kills bed bug eggs that are directly treated, and young nymphs emerging from eggs are killed by dried residues. Remove linens and wash before reuse. On infested mattresses, apply only as spot treatment to tufts, seams, folds, and edges until moist; allow mattress to dry before remaking bed. Apply to bedsprings, box springs, and the interior of bed frames or headboards, including all cracks and joints. When upholstered furniture is infested, apply as a spot treatment only to the infested tufts, seams, folds and edges. Apply as a crack and crevice treatment to all baseboards, moldings, beneath floor coverings and carpets, closets, shelves, curtains, furniture and picture frames that may provide harborage to bed bugs. Inside empty luggage, apply to seams, folds and edges until moist. *Do not treat areas of furniture or upholstery where prolonged contact with humans will occur. Do no spray bed linens or other materials which come in direct contact with occupants of the bed.*
Crawling Pests: Apply as a crack and crevice or spot treatment to surfaces on buildings, porches, patios, and other structures, openings around doors and windows, eaves and attic vents, utility entry points, weep holes, soffit areas and other exterior openings (including foundation cracks or drilled holes) where pests may enter the structure or where they have been seen or found, or can find shelter. Ant trails and nests may be treated directly.
Wasps: Make applications directly into nests. Remove and destroy treated nests if possible, or retreat nests as necessary. It is recommended to treat stinging insects late in the day when they are least active.

After 2 treatments on headboards, footboards, mattress encasement seams, temprid aerosol not killing nymphs. Ill keep trying and hope it works. I have tried several products For bed bugs from this site spending hundreds of dollars with Little success. Nymphs are imposible to kill. Hopeless situation.
Thank you so much for your feedback. This particular product is the exact same product as the Temprid Liquid Concentrate: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/temprid-sc-insecticide-p-1175.html that has a 4.4 star rating, but in an easy to use aerosol type can. When we hear a customer is using products that are known to work very well but are not receiving the expected results, we hope they will give us a call (866-581-7378 )so we can help them troubleshoot their treatment program. In this case we noticed you only mentioned treating the bed itself. It is very important that you treat the entire room to receive the expected results. Please take a moment to watch our treatment video so you can see how to implement a successful bedbug control program: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDa3NEp5aNA. We hope you consider calling (866-581-7378 ) us soon so we can help you get rid of the bedbugs in your home for good!

Great stuff, easy to use
By Cliff in Columbia, SC on 03/03/2014
Not sure about the other reviewer's comments about nymphs.... I used this product and it was amazing against bedbugs. I was nice to just spray and forget about mixing and dilutions. I bought 3 cans and used it all over the course of 1.5 weeks. Follow the instructions and buy enough to treat the entire area. 3 cans was about $60 which was MUCH cheaper than the $200 quote I got from the local pest control guy. I bought 3 more cans just to have in the cabinet in case they come back. So far, 4 weeks and no sign of a return.

It's water based instead of oil based, so it doesn't stain. 2 active ingredients means it'll get the few that are resistant to the pyrethroids. I love using the liquid Temprid, and aerosols have always been more convenient; this is a marriage of the two, and it's working well for me.

Not so great.
By Thomas in Sunapee, NH. on 10/09/2014
I bought 8 cans of Temprid spray for $19 each ($152 total) and had little to zero results. I was told by the DMOPC consultant/expert to treat my bed, bedroom, baseboards and surrounding area for at least 4-5 weeks, once a week. I did it 4x, doing it every other week for the first 3 treatments and then waited 3 weeks and did it a 4th time. I found that for the first 3-4 days after a treatment I got zero bites (no blood spots on sheets) but after that got bitten. Very frustrating. I have now lost confidence in Temprid even though maybe one or two more treatments might have miraculously done the trick. Who knows? I now have put down the Alpine DE dust I bought from DMOPC many months ago and am hoping some benefit comes from that. My health is very poor so to do each treatment which involves talking the bed apart and spraying here and there and even putting comforters in the hot dryer can be overwhelming at times. NO way could I do those treatments once/week. I would also think I would have seen some benefit even after the effort and money I put in but have not. I spoke to two consultants/experts at DMOPC and they were very nice and seemed very knowledgeable. Since I have read the reviews on the pesticide Fenvastar on here, that seems like a better way to go. One HUGE caveat: The makers of Temprid (Bayer) have made the spray valve poorly and you will find Temprid leaking out over your hand and onto the floor as you use it. I must have lost about 1/2 a can in spray liquid the while using the 1st two cans. I would suggest using the alternative spray top (the black vs white one) which can have a straw like piece fit into it. It is meant to be used to get into small cracks and crevices but it seems to allow a lot less Temprid to leak from the can and still provides a good steam of spray to come out. I also hired a professional back in March of 2013 (when I fist discovered this BB problem)and again in Oct of 2013 for a total of $1400 and although saw much improvement after the 1st treatment, they obviously did not finish the job. They even told me in their 2nd visit they thought I did not have BBs anymore. They were wrong. Just because you do not see them anymore, does not mean you do not have them. Blood spots do not just show up on pillow cases and sheets for no reason. To be fair, I also wonder, now that I have been living in apt for about 2 years, if my whole building is infected and I was the only on to notify the LL and pay for a professional to help? Most of the people are working class and I would see how many would not tell the L and use some 3rd rate treatment from Home Depot. But I am not sure if anyone else has them because the LL asked me to not tell anyone else because he is worried about his reputation in our little town. That is my story and hope it helps someone else make a decision on what to use. Maybe a healthier person could do 4, 5 or 6 Temprid treatments each week and solve their BB issue but I am not physically able to do that. Best wishes to everyone looking to solve a BB problem.

Temprid Ready Spray
By Mary in Charleston on 06/01/2016
Well, so far so good. Four disgusting roaches appeared in my bathroom. I managed to kill them, but didn't want to continue having this disgusting problem so I sprayed all the baseboards and where any pipes came out of the wall. I sprayed around the base of the toilet, which I caulked last year after the same kind of bug appeared. I think caulking is also a good idea. I also sprayed the bathtub drain. I think that might be an entry point. It's been more than a week without any further sightings. I plan to spray these same locations once a week until fall. As I said, so far so good. An added plus is that there is absolutely no odor. I would, at least at this point, recommend this product.

We saw one sitting on her egg sack in our sun room. She skittered under the baseboard heater. I sprayed the perimeter of the room with Temprid, and the next day we found her dead half way across the room. Worked for us.

I have gotten three orders of this product and the little that I have gotten out of the can does work. After a couple of sprays the valve clogs and no more product is released even though there is more in the can when your shake it. I then received a replacement order and the same situation happened. The faulty cans were to have been removed from production. Once I received a can with the straw attached to the top and I was able to use the entire can, however, in order to keep up the recommended treatment you should be able to apply several applications of the product from the two cans per order. I will order the liquid and make my own in a spry bottle.

Temprid Ready Spray
By Ron in Henderson, NV on 12/23/2015
The bugs in my apartment had been biting me repeatedly to the point that I had blood bumps all over my shoulders and torso. I had the apartment treated professionally, but the technician admitted he could only do so much, unless I paid $200 per room to do the best job, using a product called Temprid. I bought Temprid online, did my own two-phase treatment, and I now have no more bites! One of the first two cans I purchased did not work, but it was replaced immediately without question, which indicated good customer service.

QWhat's the best insecticide for bedbugs?
I keep hearing Temprid, Bedlam Plus, and Demand CS. Which should I get or should I just get all three??
ATemprid Ready Spray is a very good product to spray directly on your furniture, mattress, box spring, around the bed frame and on the headboard. This can also be sprayed around the baseboards and cracks and crevices in your home. We would recommend using this in conjuction with a product like Demand CS. This will be sprayed around the baseboards and cracks and crevices in the rooms where bed bug activity has been detected. You will use these two products every 10-14 days until there is no bed bug activity for 30 days. We would also recommend using Cimexa Dust inside the wall voids. You will use a hand duster to puff dust inside the wall voids. This will last in the wall voids for up to 10 years.

QI bought this spray to eliminate Springtails in my sinks & tub

A You are correct, Temprid Ready Spray is not labeled to be used in drains. However, we do have a product called EcoVia that can safely be used in drains and eliminates springtails. EcoVia EC is labeled for use and kills of a wide range of flying, crawling and sucking insects such as ants, cockroaches, springtails, spiders, fleas, bed bugs, flies, wasps, mosquitoes, ticks, brown marmorated stink bugs, kudzu bugs, white flies, aphids, and many more.

QHow long does it take Temprid Ready Spray to kill bed bug nymphs? I used it on mattress encasement folds and I'm still gettting bites. It has been a week. Used with Gentrol. Please help!
A It is important for the bedbug eggs to be sprayed directly. The young nymphs will be eradicated by the dried residual of the product after it is applied. There is not a specific time. We recommend that you treat once a week for bedbug control until you have gone 30 days without bites. Below I have included a guide that offers some really helpful information including other products that will be great to use for treatment.

QHow is Temprid Ready Spray with roaches? Can it also be used in conjunction with Gentrol IGR or Pointsource?
ATemprid Ready Spray works fantastic in treating roaches. Temprid Ready Spray kills quickly, but also through transfer. We most certainly would recommend using an IGR like Gentrol IGR or Gentrol Point Source as part of your roach treatment.
