This was the first tongs i bought. I did a lot research before i bought the these tongs. They have everything u need to feel safe handling lg snakes. Anthing over 48in will b to heavy. Solid tube. Great grip. A bit heavy but thats what quality is. The price and sevice at do my own pest control was also the best ive seen on the web. These tongs will get any snake job done.

Best tool ever for catching rattlers in our area :-) In my rattler boots and with my Snake Tong in hand I feel safe and secure. This year we caught 16 rattlers on our mountainous property with our Snake Tong. If one of those rattlers had bitten any of our dogs the cost to save a dog is around $3,000. Instead, I purchased the Snake Tong as a preventative measure. Worth every penny!

This was just what I needed to remove about 8 snakes, one a 6 footer, most 1-2 ft, from a 4 ft deep well pit. Using a long pole was not practical due to the depth of the pit and the angle to reach in. None poisonous but the big bull was a bit angry and striking all the time. Worked perfect for the task.
