    These gloves are thick. I took in a wounded feral cat. He is recovering from surgery so is very scared of everything. These gloves work great against his vicious claw strikes. It will be a happy day for me when he heals and figures out he is safe; Until then, these gloves will give me peace of mind if I need to take him to the vet. Cons: Dexterity is not that great for grabbing the cat by the scruff of the neck.
