    How to open and set Tomahawk 1232 Dura Poly Live Trap? no instructions included.

    We apologize that you were unable to figure out how to set the trap. This is one of Tomahawks simpler models and normally is easy to use. You can contact Tomahawk directly for trouble shooting as they will better be able to walk you through the steps for setting the trap. You can reach Tomahawk at 715-356-4600.

    How does the release work for the Tomahawk Dura Poly Live Trap for Raccoons & similar sized animals?
    Worried about getting sprayed releasing a skunk.

    Tomahawk Dura Poly Live Trap for Raccoons & similar sized animals  has one door so it does increase the probability that you will be sprayed using this type of trap versus a door with an easy  release door such as the Tomahawk Deluxe Live Trap Skunks/Opossums Easy Release Door - Model 605.

    How do you see in the Tomahawk Dura Poly Live Trap for Raccoons & similar sized animal?
    I'm trying to trap 2 colony cats, How can I tell if I caught a cat or something else?
    A

    The only way to see what exactly you have caught inside the Tomahawk Dura Poly Live Trap for Raccoons & similar sized animal is to carefully open the door a small amount to allow inspection but not enough that a caught animal would be able to escape out of.  You can see slightly through the trap to see the animal shape and can hold up a lightsource on one side to see if you are able to identify without opening.

    Is this Tomahawk Dura Poly Live Trap for Raccoons & similar sized animal a good trap for fix & release ferals?
    Will vet be able to inject these wild fur babies through trap? Will I be able to see what is in trap?

    The Tomahawk Dura Poly Live Trap for Raccoons & similar sized animals - Model 1232 is a fully enclosed trap with no access to the animal once caught.  A better option would be the Tomahawk Deluxe Live Trap Raccoon/Feral Cat Easy Release Door - Model 608

    This Tomahawk Dura Poly Live Trap does not appear to have holes on the sides.
    How is the air circulation or quality for any animal that ends up staying in the trap for an extended period of time?
