Transport Mikron is the newest non-repellent product from FMC solutions and combines two of the most powerful insecticides on the market: Bifenthrin and Acetamiprid. Transport Mikron provides a quick knock down of over 30 pests, while at the same time providing a long term residual you can count on. These two active ingredients give you a one, two punch that even pyrethroid resistant insects cannot live through. Transport Mikron uses an exclusive microemulsion process which results in a particle size much smaller than other emulsifiables and micro-encapsulated solutions. This microemulsion formulation gives you clear, stable solution that will not stain or leave any residue. It also remains suspended well after mixing and does not need agitation if you are not using it for a long period of time.

This image depicts Transport Mikron and other leading competitors 24 hours after initial mixing. As you can see, competitive formulations exhibit visible signs of settling, indicating an uneven distribution of active ingredient throughout the sample.
Transport Mikron controls termites and household insects indoors and around the exterior perimeter of residential institutional, public, commercial industrial buildings, and non-commercial barns (i.e., non-commercial barns are storage structures not intended for housing livestock other than pets), and food/feed handling establishments.
When used as a termiticide, individuals/firms must be licensed by the state to apply Transport Mikron. States may have more restrictive requirements regarding qualifications of persons using this product. Consult the pest control regulatory agency of your state prior to using.

Buckeye Bug Services - approved!
By in Central, Ohio on 06/23/2013
I own a small pest control company in Ohio. Ohio is know to have the most sever bed bug issues in the country. Transport Mikron has allowed me to lower my treatment prices, avoid costly follow-up treatments and speed up the time I would need to spend at a stop. I specialize in Bed Bug treatments and I recommend this product.

I work for a pest-control company in the southeast U.S., and we have recently switched to this product. Many products that are labeled for: spiders, scorpions, and other miscellaneous arthropods (millipedes, centipedes, etc.), other than insects, have a very hard time controlling them. That is not at all the case with this product. I'm constantly amazed when I go to some of our accounts and encounter the misc. arthropods that are dead and dying. The customers love it because there's no noticeable residue, and an extremely low odor (if any when mixed at lower levels). Expensive, but extremely effective.

The clear winner
By Alice in Portland, Oregon on 03/04/2012
I had a friend of mine across the country swear by this stuff so she bought it for me from here to try and I was skeptical at first because there's no magic bullet yet for those darned pyrethroid resistant insects from hell (Orthene PCO is probably the closest currently) but well... Hell, this stuff is the most advanced and effective insecticide on the market. It absolutely DECIMATES any ant, bed bug, or termite population (along with pretty much any other insect) with its dual class pesticide action plus this stuff really is CLEAR. I can actually see the bottom of my B&G sprayer with a full tank of this but most importantly, ZERO callbacks with it. Never had a product do that before, at least not for long. Gotta buy a case or two of this stuff after I run out.

When I was active in the pest control industry I worked with a fella who used this as his main product. I don't know if it doesn't hold up against the strong UV rays of our Arizona sun or if it was his mixture but I got call backs from his customers.. I myself used Transport GHP, Demand CS, Cy-Kick and Cyonara 9.7 and didn't have those issues.
It really works

A great product that produces results as advertised. I have found it useful in capturing all invading insects of any kind. I reside in the southern US where it is hot and bus/insects love the environment. I spray when I leave for weeks, months, to other locations and am pleased when I reenter the house. This is a significant change from previous years. Finally, perhaps I have said to much and the product will raise steeply in price. That's another evaluation in another medium if that occurs.

Strong, potent, & non-repellant
By Dave in Tulsa, Ok on 03/15/2016
Transport Mikron is my #1 goto for bedbugs. There is quite a bit of knock down action against bedbugs, and other pests. It works quickly, and the label allows you to use it in many situations, that others don't. Combine this with Cimexa, and a vacuum, and you will have a formidable trio vs bedbugs.
By Rb in Central KY on 01/03/2016
DMOPC is outstanding as a vendor, shipped right away. The Transport Mikron is an outstanding insecticide - we wasted a lot of money and time on consumer stuff that the bugs laugh at but this stuff has irradicated the problem we had and I used it at a friend's house (he rents, landlord does nothing about it) and his roach problem is gone. Works great on about any household pest and no worries about pyrethrin resistance. Forget the other products, just go with the Transport Mikron

This worked on bedbugs, much better than temprid. We had professionals spray for 1 1/2 years, with some progress, but there is a army of bugs under the sink cabinets where boards were cut away for plumbing. We spray ourselves now, and we soak that area with transport mikron, and suspend, and we are making a lot more progress than the pros, and it is much cheaper. CATS:. We were scared of the whole pesticide situation since reading it can be toxic to cats. We let these sprays dry for 2 hours, and then let the cats back in, and they have been fine. And the sprayed sink cabinets are locked to protect them. We did have a problem with bedlam plus though, our cats stopped eating for a few days just from the smell of it, but they did drink water, and ate a little plain yogurt, and their appetite returned after 2 days.

A little bit faster knockdown to kill bed bugs.
By Dempsey in Ohio. on 11/03/2015
This product wiped out a bad case of bedbugs for me but I also had used 2 other products with it though. Since I sprayed this product my client said they have not got bitten so that is a good thing .

I purchased Transport Mikron a few weeks ago. There was no tax and shipping was free. The price was great and the lowest of all other competitors. I received my item in a timely fashion (3 days). This product is very reliable. I will be doing business with this company again in the future. Thank you!

Worked almost immediately, very fast knockdown, and my new favor
By Mayday in Tulsa, OK. on 08/23/2015
I was previously using Temprid SC against bed bugs with good to decent results. Then after reading all the reviews I decided to try Transport Mikron. I was working on a heavy infestation of bed bugs, (bed bugs that had been multiplying for a year in a home) by directly treating with Transport Mikron onto the bed bugs. They were dying immediately, and now I'm awaiting the results of the residual. So far so good!

QHow is Transport Mikron a non-repellent product?
What is this "transfer" effect that is mentioned for acetamiprid? Trophallaxis? Also, I've heard that this product can be considered a non-repellant...but bifenthrin is a pyrethroid repellent. Does the particular formulation keep the bifenthrin from being a repellent?
AWhen we called FMC and asked about your question, they told us that Transport Mikron is a non-repellent and that since the two compounds are combined in a lab, the bifenthrin is not in a repellent form. They do not make this product by combining Talstar with Acetamiprid like what you might think. They combine acetamiprid with bifenthrin in a molecular combination in a lab, and are able to form a non-repellent product. It would be similar to water. There is always hydrogen and oxygen around us, but when you combine them they make something completely different...water.

QWhich is better, Transport Mikron or Transport ghp for bed bugs?
AAccording to the manufacturer, they recommend Transport Mikron for bed bugs over the Transport GHP. It has a better transfer and will do a better job at controlling the pest.
07/25/2013 Sandra from Alto,ga
QIs this safe for animals to be around?
ATranspot Mikron can be safely used in a home with pets as long as the pets have been removed from the area during the treatment. They can safely return after the treated area has dried

QTransport Mikron vs. Cynoff EC
What's the difference between these two products? There seems to be a lot of overlap in their targets.
ABoth products contain an active ingredient that is from the synthetic pyrethroid class of insecticides. Transport Mikron has a second active ingredient Acetamiprid which can offer a knockdown to pests that may be resistant to synthetic pyrethroids.

QI applied Transport Mikron 9 hours ago and it is now raining. Do I need to reapply or is it still effective?
AAs long as Transport Mikron Insecticide had time to dry normally 2 hours, it will be rainfast.

QIs Transport Mikron safe around newborn or young kids under one year and pregnant females?
A Children, pets and pregnant females should be kept out of the area where Transport Mikron Insecticide is being sprayed. It is safe for them to return to the area once the product has dried completely. This generally takes 2-3 hours.

QCan Transport Mikron be used in a sprayer?
QCan Transport Mikron Insecticide be sprayed on roses?
Application would be sprayed at a 1:1 ratio directly on plants.
A Transport Mikron Insecticide is not labeled for use on flowers or other ornamental plants or turf. We would be happy to recommend a product that will fit your needs if you tell us more about what you are treating. You may also reach our Customer Service staff at 866-581-7378 M-F 9a-5p.

QWhat product would work better for spiders, Transport Mikron or Talstar?
The application would be for the exterior of houses, with two applications per year.
A Either Insect Transport Mikron Insecticide or Talstar P would be a great choice for general insect control around the house. Transport Mikron contains both bifenthrin and acetamiprid in a newer formulation that offers excellent control of spiders and many other common insects. Be sure to apply Transport Mikron according to the product label. See our Spider Treatment article for more information about spider control.

QDoes Transport Mikron cause carpet to discolor?
I have applied Transport Mikron as a pin-stream along baseboards with brown carpet and have noticed carpet turning brownish red.

QCan you Mix Transport Mikron with Talstar P For Mosquitoes?
Can you mix these to for a more potent kill on Mosquitos
ATransport Mikron and Talstar P are not labeled to be mixed together and doing so would not benefit you or give you better control. It might actually make the control less effective since you dont want the mosquitoes to be repelled by the product and if you put it too strong you can cause this to happen.

QWill this work on Carpet moths? Sprayed directly onto handmade wool rugs and carpeting

QTransport/Temprid Tank Mix (Together)
After carefully reviewing both labels of Transport and Temprid, I found nothing that states I cant mix the 2 insecticides together for bedbug treatment. Given each product has different chemical components, would tank mixing the two be okay?
A It is not necessary to mix two insecticides together. If you are wanting to make your product work faster, we would recommend using something like ExciteR. This is used when you want a faster knockdown of pests. When mixing anything together, we would mix a small amount together to ensure there is no clumping.
