Good product. I use this for rodents and snakes in the field and for spiders in my own home. It is used industry wide by WCOs and PCOs alike.

5 of 5 Stars  Trapper Glue
By Paul on April 9, 2012

I think it's a great product. It give me the option of reusing my self made traps by just changing out the sticky material. I can also modify or make any design trap I want, for any situation. The material is very sticky, but easy to work with, if you fallow the simple instructions. I run a nuisance wildlife control business. Sometimes the industry doesn't have exactly what I need, and I have to be innovative. In the use of sticky traps, Trapper Glue lets me accomplish that. Thanks for carrying a great product!

By Joyce on September 24, 2012

This is a great product, takes just a small amount on a plastic lid, smooth's out by itself after sitting a few minutes....very cost effective compared to those glue trap I've purchased in the store, probably no more than a few cents a trap....shipping from this company was very fast, had my product in a couple of days, I highly recommend this product.

April 22, 2010James asked:

QHow do you apply the Trapper Glue? Can I use a brush?
How do you apply it, can I use a brush, is it liquid form ? Does it spread out & level itself out like on the glue pads ? How long does it stay tacky, will it ever dry out? Is it non-toxic? Will it work in cold weather ?

A

Trapper Gallon of Glue is non-toxic and great for those situations that demand specific sized glue boards. Using the Trapper glue and cardboard, plastic or tar paper you can make glue boards of any size to fit any need. The glue will stay effective for a many months but exactly how long will depend on environmental factors such as moisture, heat and dust. The glue will not be very effective in freezing temperatures, but we do offer Catchmaster 48WRG Cold Temperature Glue Board Traps just for those conditions.

Directions for use:

  1. Remove all jewelry.
  2. Coat scissors with liquid dish soap (Joy, Ivory)
  3. Coat both hands thoroughly with liquid dish soap
  4. Place an appropriate amount of glue onto the base you chose, cardboard, tar paper or plastic.
  5. Work the glue to about 1/8"-1/4" thickness.
  6. Place glue boards into areas with rodent activity.

May 22, 2010Tim asked:

QWill the Trapper Glue stay on vertical surfaces?
Is there any special trick to applying and getting the Trapper liquid glue to stay on a vertical surface when applied from the can? I know it stays there and very sticky when I staple the flat,cardboard/backed sticky mouse traps where I want to put the glue from the gallon. Problem is,last year I hurt myself very badly stapling the traps on the piers under my cabin.I've been spraying poison on them every evening this summer.I'm SO GLAD to find this glue in a gallon because I HATE using poison,I have pets.I sure would like to know what I ask about applying it,and if this type of the glue will stay on vertical surfaces like the cardboard mouse traps. Thanks VERY much for the STICKY stuff. Now,if I can just get it to stay where we need it to.

A

Trapper Glue will stay on vertical surfaces when applied in thin layers. If the glue gets too hot it may start to run, so you may want to put glue applications down low near the base of the piers, that way if running does occur it will only run onto the ground. If you do decide to use an insecticide in addition to the Trapper glue we would recommend trying the Cyper WP. Cyper WP contains the active ingredient of cypermethrin which is known to be very effective for scorpions and it iffers residual control eliminating the need to spray nightly.

January 30, 2013Richard from Richmond, Va asked:

QWill this glue work for insects and spiders?

AThe Trapper Glue is really made to capture rodents but may also capture insects and spiders as well but it is very hard to work with. If you do not need a unique sized board it would most likely be easier for you to use a ready to use glue board.

Trapper Gallon of Glue is great for those situations that demand specific sized glue boards for unique situations. Using the Trapper glue and cardboard, plastic or tar paper you can make glue boards of any size to fit any need.
