5 of 5 stars  Carpenter Bee plugs
By Bob in Sparta , Tn. on 04/04/2013

these fit perfect and I think there a little better then cork plugs, they are easy to use and are worth it , just get a pail of 250 they won't go bad

By Heiri in Upstate S.C. on 05/13/2012

I plugged a hole that a woodborer bee had chewed out on a wooden beam. I few hours later the woodborer was back trying to chew up the plug it died doing this. Probably did not taste good. When installing these plugs I fill them with glue that expands while drying.

  • 5 of 5 stars  Perfect for quickly plugging Carpenter Bee holes.
By John in Watkinsville on 04/06/2016

Plug has a snug fit in the hole. The gray color is hardly noticeable in the wood. I had a lot of holes and I was able to quickly seal the holes. A real work saver.

QI heard I have to wait 3 months after dusting before plugging the holes incase they have laid their larvae in

AYou do not have to wait 3 months. We recommend allowing a few weeks before plugging, in order tho allow the adults to carry the dust inside of the holes to the larvae.

QIs there a chemical pestiside mixed in with the material of these plugs?

AThere is not an insecticide mixed with the plugs.  They are normal plastic plugs for plugging holes from performing a termite treatment, or for plugging carpenter bee holes.  If you are plugging carpenter bee holes, then you should treat the holes before plugging them with a dust product.  It is highly recommended to treat with the carpenter bee kit on our website which comes with plugs.

QColor appears to be gray. Is brown available, or can plug be painted/stained?

AThe Trebor plugs are gray.  You can paint the top of them though (the top is all you will see once placed in the holes).
