Trees and bushes over run with all tan (no black) hornets

I do not want to get too close to dust with Tempo 1% Dust. Bulb misters have too short a nozzle. What is the best way to apply this without getting close? I can not purchase a full body suit. What are your suggestions on best way to kill and not get stung? I think our entire subdivision has been hit with them.
