Herbicide product labels recommend applying products only to healthy lawns, depending on your type of lawn, you may want be careful. For example, St Augustine grass is a sensitive grass and you probably would not want to overapply chemicals to it - expecially if it is not healthy. You should be wary of mixing herbicides and over applying chemicals to lawn all at once because it can burn your lawn or do other damage.
