4 of 5 stars  3 way max review
By Wyatt in Missouri on 05/01/2016

Product works great and shows visible signs on weeds within 3 days. Shipping was an issue as the first gallon I received had the cap broken off and replacement gallon was actually leaking through the box. I am a certified applicator so I plan on ordering a lot more product from do my own pest and hopefully shipping will be improved upon.

QLooking for something to kill Spurge and help control crabgrass would 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide work?

A3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide is labeled for spurge and other broadleaf weeds. It does not control crabgrass. For crabgrass control, many of our customers have found that Drive XLR8 is effective. Please refer to the product label for full instructions on application and to determine if your turfgrass species is tolerable. Please let us know if you have any questions.

QIs this product a Pre or Post emergent herbicide? Is there a combination you have?
I am wanting a combination herbicide that is both pre & post emergent? Do you have any recomendations

A

3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide is recommended to applied to broadleaf weeds that are actively growing therefore it is used as a post emergent. Possible follow-up applications may be required for dense infestations of perennial and biennial weeds. Without knowing what specific type of weeds are you are want to treat as a pre and post emergent, we are unable to recommend a specific product. We do carry a product called Dimension 2EW Herbicide that provides preemergence and early postemergence control of crabgrass, and season-long control of crabgrass, goosegrass, foxtail, spurge and bluegrass annual (Poa annua). Please check the label for your specific weed you are wanting to control.

QCan 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide really only be applied to residential bermudagrass 2 times per year?
The product label seems to say you should only apply this 2 times per year, but I've seen other professionals apply 3 way broadleaf herbicide multiple times (more than twice) per season. Is this product different than others in that respect?

A

The product label for 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide does state:†For turf use, the maximum number of broadcast applications per treatment site is 2 per year.†It can be used to spot treat weeds as needed but not as a broadcast more than twice. We cannot comment on what professionals do but can only state that products should be applied as directed on the product label, others products may not have this restriction listed.

QDoes 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide work on Floratam?
Does it work on Floratam? Does it kill oxalis?

A

No, 3 Way Max Turf and Ornamental Broadleaf Herbicide specifically states to NOT apply on Floratam St. Augustine per the label. To kill Oxalis/woodsorrel in St. Augustine, you could use Blindside Herbicide. The product label does not exclude Floratam, but we would recommend testing a small area before doing a broadcast treatment, especially†if the lawn is under any stress. (Some users have had Floratam discolor slightly when using Blindside, but the lawn generally recovers quickly.)
