We need something to treat an very large infestation of red wasps in the eaves of our building

cannot get directly to the nest. would like to find something that stops kills them and stops the cycle

Answer:

Using a dust product like Tempo 1% Dust in the holes that you see the wasps enter through would work to get carried back to the nest. The dust is light and will get picked up on their bodies and wings and carried to the nest and other wasps to eliminate it. Another option would be if you know where the nest is behind a wall, drill a hole into the nest and directly treat with the dust or with Termidor Foam which will expand behind the wall and transfer through the nest to kill it as well. Once the nest has been eliminated, you will need to seal up any areas outside the home that the wasps have been trying to enter through.
