Steve from Metairie, La writes

What areas are sprayed with Bora Care in an attic?

Do you spray the overhead sheathing and ceiling joists/sheet rock?

Answer:

Any raw natural wood surface of the attic can be treated with Boracare. As long as the wood doesn't have a stain or sealant on it you can apply it with a paint brush or sprayer and the Boracare will soak in and last for the life of the wood. You can spray the ceiling joists but do not recommend spraying drywall or sheet rock as you would most likely damage it since the amount of liquid used with the Boracare could compromise the integrity of the structure on these surfaces.
