Joe from Centreville, Maryland writes

What can I use to get rid of stink bugs?

I have a high amount of stink bugs in my home. I use a professional maid service and yet I still have at least 2-3 a day. What preventive measures can I use or take?

Answer:

We sell an excellent Overwintering Kit for Stink Bugs, Lady Bugs, etc. that contains a liquid concentrate, insecticide dust, and hand duster to be used primarily in the late Summer and Fall to keep overwintering pests like Stink Bugs out. You can still use these items inside for crack and crevice and spot treatment as well, just keep in mind that you will likely still see some bugs in the Spring as temperatures warm again. Bugs you find inside may be placed in soapy water, removed and placed outside, or flushed down the toilet. You should avoid crushing them inside as they will likely leave a stain on the wall or floor and a foul smell! Please see our Stink Bug Treatment Guide for more information.
