What is the best residual spray to combine with Gentrol IGR for control of German roaches?

I'm afraid I'm the one responsible for helping a population of German roaches relocate from the old place I was living -- I've been renting rooms and the last place had a HORRIBLE infestation. I laundered all my clothing, cleaned all my furniture before it came in the house, didn't even bring any of the boxes I used for packing inside -- I unpacked outdoors and shook everything out. This house has always had a problem with large adult cockroaches (varying between dark red and dark brown/black, this is the South) coming in from the outside because of poor weatherstripping. However, we are seeing what appear to be either babies of those or German cockroaches/nymphs in the kitchen now after I've been here two months. I think they're nymphs if they're German cockroaches, because they're nowhere near as red as the ones that had been in the other place so if they're from the same infestation maybe I have a chance to kill it off now. I do not have a real respirator (only masks or a mask with an organic filter used when working with solvents) to use to apply dust products at the moment, so my first thought was to get a residual spray for cracks/crevices/baseboards and mix with the IGR. Per an instructional video it's recommended that you spray the other rooms in the house before the bathroom/kitchen to make sure that they don't migrate out of those rooms, so I was going to do the light baseboard spray around the house and a spray around the edges of the windows, then the bathroom (where I've seen several in the night) and then the kitchen. I thought it might be worth it to do that first, wait a day, and then do the outdoor perimeter treatment to keep the adults from coming in from the outdoors. (I am going to also attempt to acquire a respirator, and if I can I'll get the hand duster and some Delta Dust and do what someone recommended -- taking a hand drill and drilling a hole next to the water pipes, injecting the dust in the walls in the kitchen and bathroom areas, then caulking back up the holes.) Does that sound like a plan, and if so, what product would you recommend for the mix? If you have two favorites, please list them, so I know a product to alternate with if it? Thanks

Answer:

We recommend that you apply Demon WP mixed with Gentrol IGR along the cracks and crevices. Mix 2 scoops or 2 packets of Demon WP to 1 fl oz of Gentrol per gallon of water per 1,000 sq ft. We highly recommend that you bait with a roach bait gel such as Maxforce FC Magnum. The roaches will share the bait through contact and through food sharing.
