What is the dilution and application rate of Safari 20SG to use for soil drench for euyonymous scale on pachysandra?

I want to apply Safari as a soil drench to a bed of pachysandra. What is the dilution and volume I should use - i.e., 3 tsp per gallon? and what volume of this dilution should I use per square foot of bed?

Answer:

Per the product label for Safari 20SG Systemic Insecticide with Dinotefuran on ornamental shrubs/ground covers for Euonymus scale, you would use 3 - 6 grams (1.25 - 2.5 level teaspoons) per foot of height and apply 1 - 4 pints of drench solution per foot of height.    Pull back mulch before drenching..  Adjust drench volume based on soil type, soil moisture and thickness of mulch so that product is moved into root zone.  Please refer page 11 of the product label for complete instructions.
