There are areas to be treated that have some winter growth. Would cutting those areas improve the efficacy of the product?
Pendulum 3.3 EC - 2.5 Gallons is a pre-emergent that prevents weeds from growing by creating a barrier in the soil itself. It does not affect any currently emerged weeds, and mowing would not effect the application. That being said you should be sure to remove any thatch layer or grass clippings if any on the lawn so the product can better contact the soil and be sure to water in as directed on the product label. It is recommend to avoid mowing 2 days before or 2 days after applying herbicides so that there is not extra stress on the turfgrass.
