what is the mixture ratio to use in a 25 gallon sprayer?

Answer:

There is not going to be an exact mixture ratio for that amount of water. When spraying an herbicide, the amount of water is not what is key. You need to make sure you are getting the correct amount of product over the correct amount of area. You will need to refer to the product label for how much you should be using for your type of lawn as is varies from one turf to the next. If the label states to use 1.2 ounces per 1000 sq/ft then you need to use the 1.2 ounces, in however much water it takes you to cover that much area. If doing a side by side comparison, the speed at which you are moving and we would be moving to treat 1000 sq/ft will most likely be different. It may take you only 2 gallons of water to cover the area being treated, and it may take us 5 gallons. Both are correct and both of us would mix the 1.2 ounces in with the water. If you have any further questions please let us know.
