I bought this a few years ago and never opened it, and always stored it in the house. I opened it tonight to use it and it smelled really terrible, and was kind of brown. I'm pretty sure this needs to go to the hazardous waste site. I don't feel like I want to eat fruit sprayed with it.
According to the product MSDS for Ferti-Lome Fruit Tree Spray with Neem Py, the product is yellow to red with a "citrus-garlic" odor. Many people do not care for the smell of neem oil. Generally, most products of this type will be good for at least 3 years when stored at room temperature. If you have had the product for longer than that, or if you still have concerns about using it, it would be a good idea to contact the manufacturer directly to see what they recommend.
