What's the difference in the performance between Cyper WP and Tempo Ultra WP?

My use is to spray on the outside of a log cabin to keep out cluster flies, stink bugs, lady bugs, wasps and other flying insects.

Answer:

Both Cyper WP and Tempo Ultra WP are identical in the performance and insects they treat. They are both wettable powders and applied at the same ratio (.33 - .66oz per gallon of water). Wettable powders are known for having a longer residual outside for up to 3 months and will leave the powdery residue behind. Cyper WP has the active ingredient Cypermethrin and Tempo Ultra SC has the active ingredient Cyfluthrin. Both are considered synthetic pyrethroids and are man-made insecticides created to mimic the chemical properties of the naturally-occurring insecticide pyrethrum, which comes from the crushed petals of the Chrysanthemum flower. Synthetic pyrethroids, like cypermethrin and cyfluthrin, are often preferred to the real thing as active ingredients because they offer the added bonus of remaining effective for longer periods of time.
