When spraying a non-broadcast spray, how is square footage measured?

I was looking at one of your instructional videos where the hand-pump sprayer was sprayed along the perimeter, and inside window sill, door frame, appliances, etc... On the label for many of the sprays that are intended for crack, crevice and perimeter use, mixing instructions often list the amount to mix in a gallon of water for a certain amount of square feet. Is that square foot measurement literally only for the surface area that the liquid will be directly sprayed on?

Answer:

Yes, often times water is just the carrier for the product. So, if the label states 2 ounces over 1000 sq feet, that 2 oz should be evenly applied over 1000 sq. feet. Please call us at 866-581-7378 to better assist you with the product you are referring to.
