Michael from Wilmington, Delaware writes

When treating for roaches, how far should bait (Max Force) be from insecticide (Conquer)?

I am particularly concerned about treating an apartment where the little kitchen is next to the larger living area. Will the bait be effective if the larger part of the apartment is repelling?

Answer:

The Maxforce Roach Bait Gel should be applied by placing one small pea sized dot every 10-12 inches directly into cracks and crevices around counters, sinks, drawers and cabinets in kitchens and bathrooms. Conquer should be applied along baseboards, in cracks and crevices, under appliances, around door frames, window frames and in areas where utilities (cables, pipes, wires) enter into the structure. There is no set distance you need to keep the products but the general rule of thumb is to keep the baits up high around counters and inside cabinets and to keep the sprays down low near the floor area. Do not apply bait in the same exact spot where you sprayed the Conquer.
