Which product do I use on which surface? Your answers vary.

Hello - I have extensive hardwood flooring throughout my house, with area rugs and of course furniture. In some cases you recommend in Q&A 'Ultracide for hardwoods' and FleaStoppers for carpet only. But later you say 'upholstered furniture rugs and carpets can be vacuumed then sprayed with Ultracide,' and 'Fleastoppers can be applied to all rugs and carpets." I want to do this correctly the first time, as it will require a lot of work in a 3500sq/ft house, so please advise the correct sequence of product per surface type- Thank you.

Answer:

The Ultracide can be applied to most surfaces including hard floor coverings, carpets, rugs, upholstered furniture and other pet resting areas (please test small inconspicuous area on hardwood flooring to be sure staining will not be a problem). Flea Stoppers can be applied to rugs and carpets only because if it is applied to hard flooring surfaces it can be slippery and cause you to fall. You should vacuum all areas prior to the application of either product.
