Why did the coupon code work during checkout, but not show in the total area?

Hello, I was placing an order for 2 boxes of Firstline GT Plus Bait Stations and used the coupon code 'gladiator.' It reflected a $28.99 discount, but the grand total in the next screen showed the original amount for the product, without the discount being applied. Please advise..

This is because you are not in the state of Georgia. The gladiator coupon is not advertised anywhere by our company except for at hockey games at our local arena during the game. The only way to see the code is to go to a game and it is only for our local customers. If you found the code online, it is because someone took the code and advertised it without our permission. The only other coupon we currently have going is for $5 off a purchase of $50 or more with the code givemea5. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
