Why does the product description specifically state that Petcor contains the Precor IGR?

Thus rendering it the power to be more than a contact kill - supposedly. Then in the Q and A section it specifically says that the product has NO residual capabilities????

Answer:

We apologize for any confusion.  Petcor Flea Spray contains natural Pyrethrins which have no residual properties, which is what that answer is referring to. There is no residual to continue to kill anything.  (S)-Methoprene (which is an IGR only) will remain for a time though it does not kill anything directly.  It only prevents young from maturing into reproducing adults.  As a result, any pre-adult fleas that then contact the animal it is applied to will not be able to mature.  If you want to continue to kill adults that get onto your animals, then you will have to reapply as needed.
