Why does the tile and laminate floors feel slippery after application?

We sprayed yesterday and did not come back in the home for 2 hours. The tile floor and laminate floors are very slippery and we can see our footprints where we walk, even today. Is this normal? I feel like the poison is all over our feet and our pets when they lay down on the floor.

Answer:

It is normal for the product to leave a slight slippery film on the floor as tile/laminate floors are not going to absorb the product like carpet rugs and furniture will. It will not normally be that thick unless it was oversprayed. Also, when treating for fleas they will not normally be in areas where there is no carpeting as they have no areas to hide, harbor or lay eggs. You will need to wipe up the flim the precor left on the laminate floor with a mop or soapy water and a towel to reduce the risk of slipping. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
