Why won't the Advion Insect Granule Bait work on red imported fire ants, yet the Advion ant bait arena will?

Answer:

The bait matrix or the food based ingredients that attract the ants are different and may not be as attractive to that particular ant species. Advion does make a bait specifically for fire ants: Advion Fire Ant Bait
