    Will a grey tree squirrel enter and eat the bait in the Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait Station 39000?

    The Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait Station 39000 is really for ground squirrels, but there is nothing to stop other types or squirrels or rodents from getting into the station and eating any bait inside if they are small enough to fit inside.

    No, the Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait Stations are not live traps. They are reusable bait stations and can be refilled with bait. We do sell a variety of squirrel traps, which you can view on our Squirrel Control Page.

    What is the best way to secure the Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait Stations?
    A

    There is one hole on each side of the Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait Station that will allow for you to thread a rope or wire through to tie the station up somewhere, or you can nail the station to a stationary piece of wood using the same holes.

    We have a lot of very large oak trees on an acre-plus lot.
    Is one station enough? Will the squirrels prefer acorns? We are overrun. They are on my porch, eating fruit trees, help

    Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait Stations should be placed at 20-100 feet intervals around the property. You will likely need more than one station if you are wanting to control squirrels in your lawn. We would recommend using the Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait in the bait station.

    Do you sell replacement lids for the Wilco Ground Squirrel Bait Station 39000?
    The station is still good but the lids are cracking.

If you have ordered these stations from us, then we can contact the manufacturer on your behalf to possibly obtain replacement lids for you. If you purchased from a different company, then we would recommend contacting the retailer to inquire about damage or defective stations.
