    Is Wilco Zinc Homeowner Bait harmful to pets by secondary poisoning if they eat a gopher that has killed by the bait?
    A

    According to the Wilco Zinc Homeowner Bait label, Dogs, cats and other predatory and scavenging mammals and birds might be poisoned if they feed upon animals that have eaten this bait. Normally, a dog or cat would have to consume a large amount of the bait to be sickened but If secondary poisioning should occur, we recommend contacting your vet asap.

    Wilco Zinc Homeowner Bait is labeled for pocket gophers only.  We recommend trapping.

    Can Wilco Zinc Homeowner Bait be used in veg gardens?
    A

    Wilco Zinc Homeowner Bait  cannot be used in areas whee edible vegetation may be grown. We recommend trapping gophers in gardens.

    How long do I have to keep dogs off the lawn after treating with Wilco Zinc Homeowner Bait?
    A

    Wilco Zinc Homeowner Bait must be applied as a plug removal baiting or main runway baiting. If applied correctly, your pets can return to the lawn once you are done making the application. If an animal eats some of this bait, please contact the veterinarian at once. Please review the product label for application instructions.

    I saw on a Facebook garden club.. That this zinc based poison is safe against second kill...
